i had acrylic nails done for my prom in high school, i also worked on cars... they lasted about 2 weeks of me being super careful. i don think the stress from sports will be as bad as what i did with them. Maybe keeping them short until the season is over?

Yep! Put on acrylic and don't take it off! You won't be able to bite through it but you might still try, so keep the acrylic until you stop trying to bite your nails at all (you know how mindless the whole process is, most of the times you don't realize that you're biting) and then take it off and enjoy your beautiful nails. :D I had a severe case of nail biting and now that I've gotten rid of it, it's been three years and I didn't go back to it at all.

Brooke Katz​ it isn't tht bad...I'm assuming ur talking about doing this at home urself. There's different formulas tht require different ways of removing them. Doing it urself should only take up 10 mins of ur time for removal. Thts how long I take. There's a ton of videos on this, look it up. But ur really missing out, it helps keep nails strong so they get a chance to grow. Of course u need to keep ur cuticles healthy too. What beauty routine isnt time consuming? Lol

Every couple years when I’m down and depressed this shows up in my recommended and I always watch it in its entirety. Never fails to put a smile on my face. At tip to get the perfect matte look, Suzie is to use a quick dry top coat first and then add the matte top coat. It smooths everything out and makes the nails really look matte. It's a trick I use and it works great for me. Hope it works just as well for you if you decide to give it a try. LOVE your vids. :)

Wow great upkeep Grant!! But with that said, having a great nail tech makes such a huge difference too(and you my dear are the BEST)! I will never get my nails done here in the U.S.A. Someday, I'll move to Canada and get my nails done by Suzie. At least she does nails THE RIGHT WAY UNLIKE SOME OTHER NAIL SALONS HERE IN THE US! They need to take note from Suzie.
