I remember a social media client said this to me once, I replied well it seems you already thought about it or you wouldn’t be looking for ways to increase your sales or be talking to me, so by saying you have to think about it you’re basically saying I’m afraid of investing in my business.

The opening to the script is awesome. His replies (guy on the right) are very well worded too, and not saying I would do better, but my advice would be to be more chill, laid back, less aggressive and stressed in the tonality and approach, like they are at the end when demonstrated. The scripted rebuttals by themselves are very good

Jedd Eagleton I walk into a pawn shop and I have a guitar worth 5,000 and the pawn shop offered 4,500. If I went somewhere else I guaranteed I will get less than 4500. I have debt issues with interest rate at 10% and the due date is tomorrow. I need money asap.. Should I sell this guitar now to fix my problem? or should I face the consequences? I'll think about it ... lol

@jeddeagleton4642 5 жыл бұрын
@@NINO-gv9ds firstly the guitar isn't worth 5k if no one is giving you 5k for it. secondly, if we use your analogy. you've already shopped around for a better deal by finding out what other shops can offer you for said guitar. that's not a split decision. You've done your research, if someone cold calls you and offers you 4500 you'll just take it without any thought or research? Lol

Awesome, I absolutely love it, and it's true you have to find the hidden reason why they hesitate, sometimes to ask them directly what makes them hesitate is a good solution. Objections are just smokescreens for uncertainty. If you let them go think about it, ask their wife, etc. chances are youll not hear from them any time soon.

The sample service is $348 per year. You have to ask how much commission is available on that, I think one of two answers: 1. Minimal about $35, which means the sales person can't afford to waste too much time before moving on to the next prospect. 2. Huge amount $200 or or more, which means the sales person is going to fight long and hard for that commission, which calls into question how much value must actually be in the service. To me on something like this, the low pressure approach #1 would give much more confidence in the service and the sales person. The high pressure approach would raise red flags and turn me off.

Does anyone know a resource where I could learn Jarod's "word track" rebuttals? I think that is the most valuable skill when closing. I was training with a roofing salesman who wasn't a great salesman but because he could always get back control of the conversation like that, and eventually button down the sale. The customer would eventually just cave because they had no other objections.

Not undermining Grant whatsoever...but the salespeople that are on this vid are weak including his number one. I would've hung up on these dudes. They'll call back and if their pitch is weak or the same...I'm going to hang up again. I cold call thousands of people in a week and I'm keeping them on the line....why? Cause I'm meeting the person where they're at...and I LISTEN TO THEM...and then it's open HOUSE and I unload and direct them where to go in the conversation. Sales go up because I LISTEN... yes I get hang ups but I'm calling you back with a better pitch. You ain't interested? I know that lol...if you were you would've called me lol. Hey times are tough...but if it weren't for people like you...this would never happen...etc. keep them on the line. Get creative. Not like this bunch on the vid. This is role playing. Give them the real deal holy field pitch. Get results

No problem, I understand. Let me ask you this, after you think about it, would more leads eventually help your business grow? Ok, and if you think about it, at some point would you say your in a position to take on more customers if the dollars made sense to do it? Here’s the reason I ask John, it’s my job to earn your business, and I’m confident that what we do works, based on the results we’ve gotten for other companies just like yours. I total get your skepticism, but let me ask you one more question. If we waved the start up fee for 30days, and gave you access to leads before you commit, can we do some paperwork and get you started so you see how great this gonna work for you?

Home advisor is bullocks. And, when desk rooter call jockeys (like the guy on the right) try that nonsense (of not taking an objection), they get hung up on. Home advisor gives the laypeople who search for leads absolutely no clue that companies are about to get charged in order to obtain the customers information. Mostly when I inform customers of this (after closing the deal..) they say they won’t use home advisor again. Google / yelp / Angie’s list.. being totally pay to win doesn’t help at all. People search for the services they need in my area and can’t even find the best guys on the front page.. *unrelated .. kinda * Companies send out flyers that bold face lie about having done business with customers before ; stealing business from the people who actually have pre existing service plans. No integrity

Flip Back I think there’s a difference between saying “no” and being uncertain and giving an uncertain response. If a potential lead says “no” i’d say “thanks for your time, call me if you change your mind” if they say “i need to think about it” that’s telling me “i’m not certain.... make me certain” meaning they’re not certain they want it and not certain they don’t want it, either way.

pushing too hard, old school selling. doesn't work as well these days. they know they're being sold and resent being forced into a corner. can you get a sale this way? sure, but your closing averages will be much lower than they need to be. by the time you get to that point he should be telling you how to close him.

This is all wrong. Go watch Jordan belfort looping method. That’s how you handle objections.

I am a fan of Cardone and learn so much listening to him. AND - I hate feeling rushed by some slick, fast talking sales person; if this dude called me on the fly, and didn't respect me when I said 'I want to think about it' - I'd probably buy from his competitor. It's not even about the money; it could be $50 bucks. You treat me like that, my ears stop working. Some people respond to pressure; some respond to sincerity and positivity. Isn't this scenario what "follow up" is for? GC is always preaching about follow up and I'm a believer. Show me the love, and I will probably buy 2 of what you're selling. I'm not the only one. Just saying.

I would have clicket the phone or aked him for something completely ridiculous the moment he ignored that comment about sending the information. Total lack of respect. He never agrees and never gets anagreement. Watch Jarred do the same pitch and stay in communication all the way.
