Wow, this is fantastic. I never heard of Descript. Can you do everything you demonstrated with the free version, or is it only with the pro version? I am not sure I would consistently use this; however, what you demonstrated has me considering trying the free version first. I can see how this could be highly useful, especially with one of my clients.

Yes I think everything you see can be done on the free one. Link in comments ;) but you are limited in exporting at higher resolutions and some other overdub limits.

can you show us how to take a clip from a video and make it into audio only? i record my podcast in riverside and it comes in with video and i would like to edit it as audio only but also have the option to use portions of the video to make clips. also i have imported a video clip which i transcribed and i would like to make into an audiogram but i do not see how to strip out the video portion of it to work with as an audiogram.

Great video, thank you. I have a question. If making a second audiogram and wanting to keep the elements similar, would a quicker way be to duplicate the first audiogram, then replace the transcript with that of the second/new audiogram? Already love all the shortcuts you’ve presented but I’m always keen to streamline further!

What I tend to do is copy the elements I used in the audiogram from within text. Select them as you would any words, copy, and paste them at the beginning of the new audiogram. They will keep their position, duration and properties.
