I personally would like to add that graphic quality doesnt matter if not just the gameplay is bad, but also if the art style is just that: high quality. Games like Omori come to mind with its art style literally being hand drawn and animiated

And then you get fighting games. That only recently understood that having amazing graphics sell games better. But they did not change the gameplay at all. And that's nice.

After more than a year of updates from a AAA dev team I'd say 2042 is a 7/10 BF game. Its fine. Worth buying on sale even. But BattleBit is like an 9/10 Battlefield game and its still in early access from a 3 person team and is worth it at its full $15 price (and probably worth it at more TBH.) Also 2042's probably not going to have much more content after Season 6. BattleBit is just pumping out new content at breakneck speed.
