"From the final show of the Grateful Dead's six run stadium tour with Bob Dylan, this high energy Other One falls into a gentle but powerful and dynamic Stella Blue, a perfect combination of primal psychedelic Dead with the beauty of a classic Garcia-Hunter ballad." - David Lemieux

As one who strives for accuracy I feel compelled to note that this show was played in Anaheim California at the Big A, the home field of the California Angels . I do not believe there exists any Veterans War Memorial Stadium in Anaheim.

Very psychedelic, very potent and strong music here folks. Strong enough to get you good and stoned. And thats not the least of it 😅 the other one during lsd peak effects, intense combo. Right into the beautiful snd grounding/uplifting/heartbreaking stella blue. Take you to the edge throw you off the edge and be there to gently catch you as you floated down like a feather in the breeze. They were able to do all of those things and much much more. It never ceases to amaze me where the deads music takes me.

I'm new to the Dead as compared to how long a lot of folks here have been into the band. What has amazed me is how diverse they were with the music. "The other one" could be considered prog rock. Amazing!

The keyboard player moved their sound into a more fusion style. At least on some songs that is. And it’s nice to see that the entire band is quite capable of playing this more demanding music. 👌👏

Well, they had actually gone the closest they'd ever get to fusion about four years prior to "the keyboard player" (Brent) joining...
