At my local KFC they have a statue of the Colonel sitting on a park bench. I was new to area and I went in for chicken and I had to wait for my order. So I sat on the other end of the bench. I sensed someone was sitting on the other end. I said hello and then looked to see it was the colonel. I laughed and felt foolish. But I still laugh every time I get chicken there. What a beautiful cemetery. I love the dancing couple. Made me think of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers. Thank you for the lovely vlog. Stay safe and take care.

HI again, Jordan! I am glad you can appreciate the beauty of Cave Hill. In spring, when all of the trees are blooming and the blossoms begin to fall, it creates this ethereal blanket of pink petals all over the cemetery. The lake is quite beautiful as well. It's such a beautiful and peaceful place. Every time i find myself there I try to locate the grave of George Keats, Louisville civic leader and the brother of poet John Keats. I haven't found it yet, but I will someday! i imagine it may be quite illegible.

I met Colonel Sanders when I was a teenager. I had a ticket to be in the audience of a TV show called "Masquerade Party," taped at NBC in Burbank and hosted by the late Richard Dawson. On the way into the studio, I saw a limo parked outside. I asked the driver whose limo it was. He said, "I don't remember his name, but it's that guy from the chicken buckets." The premise of the show was to dress a well-known person in disguise and let a panel of three celebrities ask questions and guess who it was. They brought out Col. Sanders and, of course, the celebs thought it was someone else dressed like Col. Sanders. I knew what was going on because of my interaction with the limo driver, but I kept the secret. It was hilarious when the celebs found out it was really him. I met the Colonel after the show and he couldn't have been nicer. R.I.P, Colonel Sanders, and thank you for sharing that moment with me. And thank you, Jordan, for another awesome video.

You are a real trooper to do a vlog in such a hot, humid environment. Currently I live now in Northern Kentucky moved right on the river across from Cincinnati Ohio. Mom Sophia Conley loved your blogs. She had dementia and passed July 8th. I was her caretaker for 5 years. Thank you for all the joy you gave to her. ~ Princess Yellow Bird

Nice video! I used to work for a friend of mine at a Philadelphia, Chic Fil-a, about 30 years ago, at a small mall. When, I worked there, one day, Bill Cosby was shopping with his daughter at a clothing store. I asked him for autograph. He told me, "I don't do autographs. While another time, I was told that someone was signing autographs, just outside of the mall. The man was signing small white pamphlets that told you about The Muslim, "Koran". The man signing the pamphlets, was taking them out of a briefcase, he was Mr. MUHAMMED ALI! I still have and cherish this autograph

Who ever knew Louisville would be so fun. I am glad you are taking us to places we would never have thought to visit. I was disappointed that with all of those super cool statues in the cemetery that they didn't create a large drumstick or bucket of chicken for the Colonel's grave.

As a “Christian” I cried when Muhammad Ali passed away. No one is perfect, but he was a man who really tried to practice what he preach. Before his death he made it clear any faith was welcome at his funeral. When on his death bed, his heart beat strong for 1/2 an hour after multiple organs failed. Even doctors were impressed. I like to think while Ali went with Death willingly, he made death go a few rounds with him. Death always wins in the end….but I bet Death needed a few ice packs, Extra Strength Tylenol, and a tissue for a serious nose bleed. Ali willingly went to Libya to rescue three American hostages and later Saddam Hussein to bring home a dozen a American hostages. He may of had Parkinson’s(?) but he had a presence that impressed Saddam. People hate him because he refused to go to Vietnam. Well, outside the ring, Ali was was a pacifist. I think him going willingly to a dangerous situation, and bringing home US citizens makes up for that 100% 😖 I could not face Saddam, He looked that monster right in the eye. RIP Ali. You are the Greatest. ✊🏿

That part of Kentucky looks like it has a lot of amazing sites to see. The cemetery where Col. Sanders and the other notable people are laid to rest has got to be the nicest and have beautiful statues. Have seen that episode of The Dark Side of the Ring” where they went and Muhammad Ali went with them. We got dinner last night from KFC. Louisville has a lot to offer for visitors. Really enjoyed this vlog. Another great showing of that part of Kentucky. I remember watching a problem a good while back talking about that day that Zackary Taylor ate all that fruit and drank all that milk that he got sick from that he ended up dying from. This was before milk started to be pasteurized. The water in the area at that time was very contaminated so they had to fix the problem before anyone else died from the contaminated water system. If I remember right, they learned about pasteurized milk. Seems like that day was a very hot day. Love learning new things everyday. Thank you and Kevin for the last couple of vlogs.

brown cloudy rivers don't necessarily mean the water is dirty, just might be silt from higher up where the river started flowing.. where I live, the river changes colour depending on if its winter or summer due to stuff getting washed down it .Not filth, but just clay or leaf tannins in the water
