One of the main reasons for opting for such extreme diets is because of our social medias which manipulates us into thinking everyone to look like Barbie if we can put in some extra efforts . I m a woman who's being body shamed even by her own family. I did extreme dieting during my early college days,did lose kilos but ended up fainting on my way to sit for semester..That day I realised I was punishing my body only to be accepted by my peers. I have now learnt to stand up for myself and have become quite vocal to anyone family or "wellwisher" trying to advise me on my body. So people in my opinion should choose health not only for body but for your Mind too..thank you palki ma'am for spreading awareness 🙏🏼💜

Our Grandfather lived long lives because they were living simple life and Eat Natural foods. They did not had such diet plans. They did not had pressure to look good on Insta or FB. They were happy of what they are and they were thankful for what they had.
A big problem in America is that everywhere has air conditioning. No body sweats anymore but sweating is your body’s natural way of removing toxins. The slight uncomfortable feeling of heat and everyone blasts A/C. But what’s annoying is that modern housing is built to require AC - old homes pre-AC were built to allow air flow, high ceilings to let heat rises, and general ways to make things comfortable. You don’t have to go on extreme diet if your body is always working in the summer to cool itself down and you don’t overeat. It’s not the only way by any means but America uses more electric for just A/C than Africa uses electric for the ENTIRE continent. The modern worlds sedentary, 24/7 comfortable, everything in an instant lifestyle is a huge problem for our health.

My wife and I have been doing OMAD (one meal a day) for 5 years, in addition we fast(we drink water, tea, coffee and a non caloric electrolyte mix) Monday and Friday and will do an annual 5 day fast and 72 hr fasts intermittently. My fasted weight workouts are some of my best ie heavy weights for approximately 1.5 hr workouts. During the spring to summer I switch to more outdoor workouts including hiking and biking several times a week so we will do less fasting and more carbs (fast once a week) Results: low inflammation (in fact I smashed my knee mountain biking, and fasted for 72 hrs and it reduced the severe swelling), Lowers blood pressure (we are at low to normal on a consistent basis), look younger (everyone always says when we fast we look younger), maintain to losing weight continually and perfect physicals at age 56 and we do not smoke, drink or do drugs. Note: we’ve done what works for us and are not doctors.

Now at 63 I look fit and healthy and younger than my age with no other health problems except for the ME/CFS ... I've found that OMAD 6/18 intermittent fasting works best for me ... And will stick to it for life ... I have virtually zero symptoms and feel perfectly normal as long as I stick to it ... I laugh at idiots who think it's somehow 'unhealthy' ... Thank you for this post. It popped up just after a grilling workout in an effort to bring my weight back down to my standards. I’ve always been a “worker outer😆” in spite my age I maintain but With my work schedule I eat whatever I can get quickly during the week then try to work it off. I have become overweight and I joke with my coworkers it will be a heart attack that will do me in. No more jokes, your video has been an eye opener.

Wonderful video. I’ve lost 25 kegs on low carbs and OMAD. One meal a day. I play badminton 5 times a week and I walk most days 7 miles. Having a balance is key. Whole Foods and no alcohol helps. I always say. Never get your calorie from drinks only food.

That's the optimised human diet and I've done it for a while too. A 'balanced' diet is the standard American diet (carby meals 3x a day with snacks in between). So I don't subscribe to the 'balanced' philosophy.

Our body can make its own glucose, liver helps do that. We don't need to artificially put glucose in our body. Get table sugar, refined oils out of the diet. Replace it with natural sugars from jaggery or Stevia. Oils that are not refined are best. Look for oils from the geographical location you are living in, that is probably best for your body. Ghee (clarified butter) is best, if you can make at home. Too much juices aren't good. Intermittent fasting is good but it should be incorporated slowly in your lifestyle and make sure to exercise and build stamina and muscles.

Thanks for the video. On the point about intermittent fasting though, I must say that it is one of the things which helped to reverse my T2D and insulin resistance. It was also my first step into my journey to healing my body. I think intermittent fasting is an important tool for those who need it; but the reasons for fasting and how one breaks that fast are also important.
@amarsingh27672 жыл бұрын
I too reversed my T2D by doing Intermittent Fasting and Low Carb diet. It took me one and half year. Lost 10kg. Improved my HbA1C from 6.4 to 5. Got rid of grade 1 Fatty liver. All my health parameters significantly improved but it took long time and patience.

You dont just wake up and start fasting, you have to prepare your body leading up to the fast by slowly changing your diet to less toxic or less mucus forming foods. This so that when you do fast and all the toxins and mucus are released back into the blood stream or stomach for excretion, they don't overwhelm the body system. Many have died from fasting the wrong way.

@@nidhinn6296. Truly eating healthy is my main focus, I can take some of the obvious good things from keto and the paleo diet but I'm not a slave to either one, cutting sugar intake is just good common sense also cutting down on carbs, but I won't demonize certain fruits like papaya, grapes and a banana or mango is not going to put me in the hospital either, but knowing how to read food labels to learn about the ingredients is a must, eating organic non gmos fruits and vegetables very important and eating a variety of the foods that are good for us is very important pasture raised and grass fed meats, dairy and eggs very important, but also exercise and sleeping 7 to 9 hours very important, skipping a meal occasionally important, there's a lot that we can learn by watching KZbin videos on nutrition but I definitely agree any diet that is too extreme can't be good, eating healthy can not only make you feel and look good but it can also be tasty .

I alternate between keto and normal diet and also do intermittent fasting. This helped my body to get fat adapted. Rather than avoiding fat altogether, we should ensure that our body process both fat and carb efficiently. The worst thing you can do is remove fat from your died. Edit: I saw so many responses to keto being extreme. Well you cannot judge keto based on 20 sec segment in a video. Yes an athelete died due to extreme diet, but for this one case there are thousands of cases of people dying from over eating/obesity/diabetes.

Keto is the perfect example of an extreme diet. Nothing wrong with eating complex carbs. If you want to control your weight and limit risk on chronic disease you should aim for more fiber rich food.

@@ab-td7gq This. In the long run keto will disappear like all the other low carb diets that had their high time before keto like Atkins or Paleo.
