Honestly, I wish gravitas would just balls the wall with modern stuff, the only “tactical simulator” we have for modern stuff is combat mission, and CM is…… not great.

it seems every individual soldier or tank is marked in your game, is that an option in the settings? it seems to only mark the entire platoon with the commanders name by default

By default its F6 to cycle through different types of icons in game.
