this is an underrated comment.. lol.. but honestly ft is my main fav anime but the last seasons were bit lacking both in animation style and plot.. i was also disappointed on how they put away the magic circle when they use magic because i could say that it took a lot of the exciting feels from me.. it became meh becoz things just suddenly appear..and the friendship thing became a bit too much cringy.. and now im in the middle of watching akame ga kill but literally just wanna finish it but aint looking forward anymore on stuff because i know a fact that everyone will die ..aside from that the love stuff happening where every girls is into tatsumi especially mine suddenly feeling in love with him is so weird.. and they made him look really weak even with incursio..also i hated the fact that he gained his imperial arm from bulat..he didnt even get to have a full new imperial arm just for him and looked like someone who just received 2nd hand stuff..lol i wrote a lot but i have way more things to complain than this.. do u agree tho or disagree? i wanna know your opinion and complains about these animes

jack Mafo ]\ so in the manga, at one point tatsumi (protagonist) and an ally got captured. The ally got tortured, and interrogated(hance the crushed ball). but he held out. In a moment of pure bad ass, he manage to escape. And flash back of past friendship and love cues. Long story short, the ally was trying to pull the standard “I’ll live, and get out due to power of friendship.”, and well, he didn’t make it out, and is now in 15 pieces. Mind you, the ally was by no means a side character, he was introduced from like the second chapter, and didn’t die until the second last arc. So yea..... plot Armor be damned.

As a note. Freezing time makes.... some sense if you squint. Since particles stop moving at absolute zero. So if you could get it colder than that, there's some kind of logic to being able to freeze the flow of time in some way, likely by making it so cold, particles of light slow to a crawl as well

Well, while I'm not an expert I can tell you that in Norse mysticism the elemental force/concept of Ice represents not just cold but also stasis. And the western Alchemic concept for freezing essentially translates to something fluid (in this case the flow of time) taking on the heavy, static properties of Elemental Earth. So it checks out from a mystic perspective as well.

There'd be holes littered around his body. And her "magical" prowess is superior as well. She can turn regions into an icy tundra. Not a snow world like Invel did, a TUNDRA! On a completely different level. She can even create meteors of ice with ease, islands would be flattened in seconds. She can waste landscapes with ease, what is Gray compared to that? I'm surprised he kept up with Natsu with his abilities prior to his Devil Slayer Magic.

He could easily inflict it with Burn, halving it’s physical attack by the way with Pokémon’s own rules, then use his ungodly jumping powers to throttle it’s face, all before it even shrinks down in like 3 turns before it’s complete toast. Fight begins: G-Max activates and punches Goro which isn’t very affective, Goro breathes fire, Machamp uses Max Guard like a coward, then uses it again out of desperation where it’ll likely fail, it shrinks down after that, game set and match.

So its very possible in this situation where Juvia is 17 and Gray is 18 that it is not illegal. Also to point out the obvious but it was multiple years in show before Gray ever returned those feelings back to Juvia making her more then 17 years of age by that time most likely unless there is weird time stuff going on in fairy tail. @@shadowthegamer5421 No, they specifically show the feats for Manga Esdeath and not the Anime. Only probably using a bit of Anime feats since Esdeath has shown MUCH greater than that anyway in the Manga, so the Anime is not contradictory and therefore can be used for some of it’s feats. And the Fairy Tail Manga and Anime are meant to be an adaptation, they are supposed to be the same story unlike Akame Ga Kill having a different story for both versions. Sometimes stuff just happens in both, but the Anime is used to get a sense of movement, since calcing a still image is obviously harder. And they do use the Manga as well anyway. Also, 3rd Rule of Death Battle: “All published material about a character will be used so long as it does not prove contradictory”. They have stated before and after this fight that they are completely fine with pulling Anime only moments so long as it doesn’t prove contradictory to the main source. It can be considered an addition rather than a contradiction. As I said earlier, Esdeath’s feats in the Anime are not contradictory as Esdeath has shown greater levels in the Manga already. And including some other things from there is completely fine so long as it doesn’t change the verdict in a massive way.

Death battle has a tendency to overhype small feats and underplay massive ones making it seem like the two combatants are equal when in reality one of them is way way stronger, if you pay close attention to the numbers and units used you can easily predict who will win every time

I might’ve missed this if they said it but aren’t dragon/demon/god slayers in fairy tail immune to their own elements? Like natsu is immune to fire and gray has some kind of cold immunity even before he became an ice demon slayer. If so, then esdeath quite literally wouldn’t be able to hurt him because 99% of her attacks are ice. Even mahaptama, her time stop, uses ice, which gray would be able to resist. Adversely, esdeath has no real resistance to ice.

They have resistances, not immunities. They can still be hurt with powerful uses of their element.
