She only read another person's mind once, and the other person had a dozen other powers and was having a mental breakdown, so it might have been them not her.

Also, something similar happens to captain atom, who is constantly emitting radiation. weak nuclear force would be something more tied to "decay" but also "control". kinda similar to different. able to transmute, fuse and destabilize stuff. and be radioactive apparently firestar is an user of the weak force. is kinda difficult to properly differienciate visually a strong and weak force user. i guess weak force would be portrayed with the usual green radioactive imagery and maybe some red due to their potential of fire and potential solar manipulation. be used as "destruction with the potential ot create" strong force user would be more about control of matter in general. be the "opposite" to strong force and say "creation with the potential to destruction". be the ultimate conclusion of someone who "controls the elements"

A lot of the esper abilities are a lot more fundamental and specific, like accelertor for example he controls VECTORS anything that has speed and magnitude. Its the sole reason on why he is a broken character. Its the same with misaka, she doesnt just stick to metal she alters the electromagnetic properties of things she touches. All of the lvl 5 espers are broken in there unique ways. Which makes it an extremely fun power fantasy. Touma is literally just anti magic so he his the end all be all cuz its like deviding by zero trying to fight him with magic

Killua is an electricity user while Misaka can manipulate electro-magnitism. I think thats the real reason she won, she know the properties and science behind her abilities and effectively utilize them. Example, being a lighting user you cant shoot or make a railgun however, Misaka can exploit the properties of electro-magnitism, in this case Lorennz force, to make a railgun. I always thought that Misaka could just put some amperage into her abilities and easily kill someone, it take 100-200 or 0.1 - 0.2 amps to stop someones heart. A 60 watt bulb hooked up to a 110 volt N. American wall socket is 0.54 amps.

It's also another major factor in Misaka's victory. Both Killua and Misaka are intellectual prodigies, but *1)* Misaka generally has higher knowledge of applicable scientific theorem (like using electricity to manipulate metals), and *2)* Misaka's wider array of moves means that she simply has more options to work with. As stated in the episode, Misaka is used to strategically fighting at long-range to keep away foes who are lethal at melee-range, while Killua simply did not have the tools or experience to contend with a powerful long-range fighter like her.

Really? The problem is with Nen: non-Nen users are extremely vulnerable to Nen and Nen provides extreme advantages in durability. So, if Killua is ever getting in close range he wins. Misaka do not have any durability against Nen or physical attacks and she is slower, so either she wins at long range immediately or she is losing even though she is a stronger user of electricity. It is like a strong mage will lose to an assasin at close range. Killua's speed advantage is enormous (due to electrically enhanced movement).

So, what can she do to survive Nen-empowered thrust from Killua at close range? It is much more dangerous than Touma's punch to the face which was enough in most cases... Most of her attacks would fail against Killua's Nen defence (her iron sand, seriously?), the most powerful attacks he can evade. So, I do not see how she can win besides using level 6 upgrade. At close range a single attack will rip her apart. I agree that she is stronger than him in general, just bad matchup. It is like Killua has decent defence and good attack, Misaka has weak defence and very good attack. So, her weakness is too much for him to miss.

Misaka usually uses coins because they fit in her pocket, but she can use anything that can conduct electricity. Her coins have a limited range due to mass, so using a 50kg metal yoyo would have been much more powerful.

The thing is, the fight should have ended much sooner than that. Something they didn't consider is how Killua's nen actually works. He transmutes his nen into conductive material that allows him to store and conduct electricity, so he can't actually control electricity and he's always pumped full of it. That makes him auto lose the match against Misaka because she can force electricity to flow however she pleases*, for example, towards Killua's heart. Or forget about shooting a coin at him, Killua would be the thing she's shooting at things. *For example, she can make it flow in a straight line to accelerate a coin instead of how it would usually flow, to the ground. I'm glad they introduced both of this characters to the show, but this match up is as sad as Wolverine vs Magneto.

Unless it's late NT Misaka.... cause she did go on a murderous rampage and admitted to attacking people who she knew had nothing to do with her revenge before Touma stopped her. And considering she was about to railgun the guys Touma saved from her with the intent to kill, she absolutely murdered tons of innocent kids. She just doesn't laugh about it, and seems to hide it under her usual tsundere attitude

@@nirocz2738 I doubt it, since that trick doesn't actually make you invisible, just masks your presence. Even if it did, that wouldn't help here because she would still be able to sense the electricity flowing through his body and brain and the magnetic materials in and on him, something he couldn't just turn off.

@@temmshop665 not likely since Misaka and could just magnetize him to the ground or walls to get him away from her. She'd be able to ensure she had distance if she can just dodge the initial assault, and because she has reaction time on par with him, she'd be able to do that.

I know that a lot of people are wanting to see Accelerator now that Misaka has made an appearance, but I really feel that Sogiita Gunha or Teitoku Kakine would be better for this. Accelerator just kind of shitstomps everyone. Especially if we consider what he's done outside of the anime series and the movie.

This soundtrack tho!!! I’m surprised ppl are even given index of recognition, even using light novel knowledge!! I need to see Gojo vs Accelerator!! That being said I don’t think enough research was done on either character, cause there was a lot of things both characters didn’t do that would have made this a crazier battle, that said it was still enjoyable to watch.
