A correction: The Bulgarian Principality, which was the only de facto free Bulgarian state, and Eastern Rumelia - a semi-autonomous province in today's Southern Bulgaria, were both part of one nation, therefore Eastern Rumelia cannot be called a nation in the full sense of the term. The unifaction between the Principality and the Rumelian province caused the Rumelian crisis, therefore the Serbo-Bulgarian war of 1885.

That was just used to show the Vilayet, not necessarily those who rebelled. Well in particular its the flag used when the Austrians invaded. This is only because there's not much to indicate what borders the great powers hoped to draw or who would rule over it.

@@JabzyJoe Thanks for explanation.Rebels used "крсташ барјак"(flag with cross).I am telling this because I don't want people to get confused.Bosnian muslims actualy rebbeled few decades earlier against reforms. Thank you for representing the national flag of "Independent Bosnia" in 1878, which was used briefly during the Austro-Hungarian campaign in Bosnia. That flag is similar to the flag used during the Great Bosnian Uprising half century earlier. Muslim uprisings in the Ottoman empire like the Bosniak or Albanian uprisings are often neglected in history.

Could you review, “The Armenian Genocide?”
@armennazarian7097
@armennazarian7097 6 жыл бұрын
Osman Oglu Alright tell me what horrible things have us damned savages committed against the Ottoman Empire who's military is 3 million strong while the Armenians consisted of 16000 unorganized troops. You mean to tell me that the Armenians overran the Ottoman Empire took Constantinople and slaughtered 15 million people? Grow a pair suck up to your own past!
@armennazarian7097
@armennazarian7097 6 жыл бұрын
@Osman Oglu Osman Oglu 1: I never said Turks killed 15 million Armenians only sacarsticly saying Armenians killed 15 million Turks. 2: I'm pretty sure unorganized militias fighting a damned empire that had been opressing you for 6 centries is not terrorism unless they were terrorizing the sultan's dreams of keeping together his sick man of europe. I'm also pretty sure Armenians would have been safer on the front lines than being marched 500 km to Der e zor. 3: Yes the empire had nothing better than kill Armenians same as the Nazis. The Ottoman army was notoriously shit at being well... an army especially in Mesopotamia where they were constantly being forced back and what better way to take blame off your incompetence than to shift the blame to the Armenians who were already viewed as inferior by much of the empire and that's exactly what they did after Sarikamish. 4: This is not illegal occupation every nation has the right to self determination that includes nations like Kosovo, North Cyprus, and Artsakh just because the Soviets told you this land is yours doesn't make it yours, they tore apart our country and left Artsakh in the Azeri ssr as a autonomous republic. During the split up of the Ussr Azerbaijan realized they were going to lose territory to the Armenians if they didn't do something so what did they do? Kill all the Armenians in Baku and Sumgait. Little did they know instead of stabilizing the situation they gave us a reason to declare independence. And you know what? We won that war whether or not you believe it was because of Russia is irrelevant because we won that war and we will continue to win until Azerbaijan loses interest in that so called 15% of "their" land that brings them no wealth and no natural resources. 5: I don't know if you noticed but Erdogan and Aliyev are definitely not clean politicians and I can tell you for a fact that Nikol Pashinyan is the furthest from a corrupt politician being responsible for arresting around 10 people in the government responsible for corruption including a former president. In conclusion Armenians only want recognition from Ankara that's all nothing more nothing less yet you still continue to deny it 100 years hence as if you were the one who personally killed them.
@armennazarian7097
@armennazarian7097 6 жыл бұрын
@Osman OgluHoly shit cool it no need to commit genocide on my eyes with that wall of text. Ok I'm going to lay it out for you believe it or don't believe its up to you. 1914, Enver decides he has balls of steel and declares war on Russia failing to recognize that it would be the litteral death of him. Then he decides to fight the Russians in the winter a terrible mistake that ends up nearly costing his life then he sees oh ok there are Armenians on the Russian side therefore they must be traitors despite the fact that he only narrowly escaped with the help of an Ottoman Armenian soldier. So after this he's pretty pissed and looking to take some anger on some Armenians. So Talaat gives him the go ahead and kills off Armenian intellectuals then Enver strips Ottoman Armenian soldiers of their weapons and transfer them to hard labor and were later killed off which proves to be a very stupid idea later in the war. This where your "peaceful" deportations come into play Ottoman soldiers waltz into Ottoman Armenia raiding and sacking villages and rounding up Armenians and moonwalked into Der e zor where they get systematically exterminated. Armenian militias weren't about to be like "welp boys we tried but the turks don't like us so I guess we'll die" yeah no of course they fought back and somehow this is terrorism. No, I think the opposite I think the Ottoman Military was a glorified terrorist group and both Armenians and Turks were their victims. Well there you have it. I don't expect you to change your opinion take what you will from this.

@Osman Oglu If you believe that the Armenian genocide is a hoax why do you get so angry when it's mentioned? Why does Ankara send angry letters to foreign governments who recognize the genocide? This is guilty behavior. Khojaly happened, March days happened I'm not proud of these things and yet I can still admit it happened. Why? Because I'm not a nationalistic bigot who looks at maps of Greater Armenia to get hard. But for every massacre Armenians committed against the Turks there were 3 more committed against the Armenians that's a fact Susha Pogrom, September Days, Sumgait Pogroms, Adana Massacres, and the Armenian Genocide.
