One of my favs from Lovedrive! It and Animal Magnetism are highly recommended, both great albums all thru and a much less commercial sound than they're mostly known for. Matthius Jabs on lead guitar...the German Eddie Van Halen.

I have never heard this one and was surprised by the reggae groove. Never thought that Scorpions would do something like that.

Klaus Meine (vocals) is the singer of Scorpions... he and Rudolf Schenker (guitar) have been w/ the band since 1970... This track was from 1979, the album 'Lovedrive'... which became their first gold record in the US. The rest of the band in this clip was: Matthias Jabs (lead guitar), Francis Buccholz (bass) and Herman Rarebell (drums) Today, Scorpions is Klaus, Rudolf and Matthias... w/ Pawel Maciwoda (bass) and Mikkey Dee (drums) Rudolf's younger brother Michael Schenker was originally in Scorpions... he left in 1973 to join British rockers U.F.O. and became a guitar hero... In the 80's, he formed his own band M. S. G. (Michael Schenker Group) and is still actively recording and touring as M.S.G. or Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock.

Nice breakdown. Jabs is the coolest dude. Germans really know how to make cars and music.

From one of there best albums, Lovedrive, where all 8 songs are absolute bangers. Michael Schenker of UFO and MSG guests on 3 songs, including the title track. You should hear Lovedrive ASAP, great hard rock tune and one of Schenker's best guitar solos. Their 3 albums starting with Lovedrive, through Animal Magnetism and Blackout, are all time hard Rock Classics. Enjoy! 🔥🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶🔥

Woah one of my favorite scorpion songs. The only reggae scorpion song I think out of their usually hard rock or balls style of them. In trance is also another intresting song of them and lonesome crow from their early carrier. Enjoy. Helios from Greece.

Check out Another Piece Of Meat from the same album. Had Michael Schenker on lead guitar. From their Uli Jon Roth albums songs like Speedy's Coming and Polar Nights. Lovedrive are imo the best Scorpions album. According to Michael Schenker he wrote the album but wasn't credited. He played on 5 songs. It broke something in his relationship with his big brother Rudolf. They doesn't really talk to each other.
@darrendixon3191Ай бұрын
Yes, we need to check that out. It's an excellent song.

It does not get much better than having Michael Schenker, Uli Jon Roth or Mattias Jabs in your band at various times. The Scorpions have been on my turntable since Lonesome Crow in 1970, they have always been one of my favorites. Rock On! 🎸🎸🎸
