The Lotus team's performance and history are impressive. Colin Chapman was a absolute genius. The team used to have, in addition to the elegant and aerodynamic design of the chassis, the most beautiful liveries, from the green and yellow of Clark's times to the JPS era. We loved that perfect combination of black and gold. Its last breath was in 1987 with the Lotus Camel powered by Honda and driven by Senna. :( PS. Its corpse appeared to rise from the tomb in 2013 but it was just a muscle spasm caused by an accidental electric shock.

@@jackbarnes48 No it's not 20*60 = 1200 , the first three races are already added so that leaves 1020 laps. Ofcourse this is an estimate since every GP has a different amount of laps based on the 305km range it needs to be.

The differences between Ferrari and Mclaren are that : 1) Ferrari's most recent constructor championship was in 2008, Mclaren in 1998 2) Ferrari's most recent race win was last year, Mclaren's last GP win was 8 years ago 3) Ferari is the most known, powerful and victorious brand in the history of F1 and cars overall 4) Ferrari actually provide themselve the engine 5) Ferrari has won 16 constructors championship , Mclaren 9....So no, Schumacher is not the only difference between Ferrari and Mclaren

Maybe, maybe not. Mercedes is one of those teams that will only race when they have a good chance of winning the title. If they start losing consecutively for a few years, they will leave the sport. Ferrari, no matter how many times they say they’re going to leave, simply won’t. That’s why Ferrari is so historically great. They’ve endured many difficult seasons. They’ve celebrated many competition destroying seasons. It’s why even though Mercedes has shown better promise, better engineering and periods of dominance, as soon as the wins stop coming, it will only be a matter of how long before the parent company ends the racing program.
