You two are such pros now on College football compared to a couple of years ago. You are now officially FA (football Americans).

It's worth noting that during their "discussion" of the pass interference call, the video board was repeatedly showing the replay, so although the officials didn't conduct a formal review, people think that they may have looked at the replays on the video board, seen how bad it looked, and that might've influenced their decision.

Nico is a (Redshirt) Freshman. I agree, he's got a lot to improve on. At his worst, he's an average game-manager QB. At his best, he's could be the best QB in the nation. He just has to keep learning from his mistakes. He's relatively new to playing football compared to the SEC players he's playing against, who have been playing football since 4 years old.

Miami fan here. Cam's the real thing. Incredibly competitive but also very calm under fire. My friends and I joke that he often looks low-energy because he's so chill back there.

23:40 unfortunately that fact the fans threw all those bottles on the field delayed the game a few minutes which allowed the refs to group up and discuss the call and made the decision to change the call so the bottle throwing helped to flip that call.

In that Navy game interception, the last man hit in the endzone was the quarterback I believe (insult added to injury)

Why the refs overturned the penalty is cause they remembered what state they were in and made a business decision. Lol

Long but informative explanation of SEC fines for storming and throwing objects on field………… The SEC fines schools for throwing objects on the field/court during or just after completion of a game, and for storming the field. This includes any non-SEC teams playing an SEC team on a field that is within the SEC’s conference region. The fines seem ridiculously high, but are in place to help ensure everyone’s safety. If a school doesn't incur a storming the field penalty for a period of four years, that schools clock for “field storming” fines will reset. The fine collected is paid to the opposing school. Before 2023 the fines paid went into an SEC Post-Graduate fund. The money collected for throwing objects on the field still goes into the SEC Post-Graduate fund. Breakdown of fines below……… Storming The Field First offense: $100,000 fine Second offense: $250,000 fine Subsequent offenses: $500,000 fine for each offense **a single goal post can cost is up to $60,000 to replace. Typically around $25,000 per. Throwing Objects on The Field $250,000 per each offense, no reset.

Regarding the blocked kick, a team can attempt a “field goal” at any time from any distance for 3 points, as opposed to an extra point which is after a touchdown. But, also as I type this out I wonder if you know that already and just switched the words up. All love, appreciate the outside view of American sports, and go Ducks!

The funny part about Army and Navy football this year, they are both in the same conference for the first time ever starting this year. But, they always play the annual Army/Navy Game the week after conference championship game week to give them the spotlight with no one else playing. So, they decided to keep that game that date but to make it officially a non-conference game so they could still keep the American Conference Championship game the week before. Given their hot starts though, it is conceivable that they will paly each other in the conference championship game on Friday December 6th at the higher seed's on-campus home stadium and then meet in the annual Army / Navy Game the following Saturday December 14th which rotates but this year is being held at the Washington Commanders' Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland, outside of Washington DC.

The UFL (United Football League) has this thing called a super challenge. A coach is allowed one time a game to challenge anything. Penalites, calls, even things they thought should have been called. This would be a good rule to bring to college and the NFL

Cane fan here of over 45 years. I know what you mean, Damo. Cam Ward is the strangest quarterback I've ever seen play. He has a nonchalant way of playing that is kinda startling when you first see him. I wasn’t expecting him to be this good. As far as his draft status goes, he will probably be the first quarterback taken in this years draft. I'd gather somewhere in the top 5. #GOCANES

The Georgia vs Texas game was really good. Hope you guys did a reaction to the highlights. 😅 I wanna see Beck tidy it up tho because I instantly thought of that Bama game as soon as I saw the first interception. There’s no particular team I’m tied to and I’m not sure why, but I’m finding myself rooting for Georgia. Maybe it’s cause their games are so entertaining rn. But man oh man.. Their defense was insane!

Good highlights and nice job in review. One minor point in pronunciation. Notre Dame U. is pronounced as Noter Dame (and really stick the landing on that r in Noter, American style! You got the Dame part but still want to do the (correct) French version, "Notrah" . Well done though as you did better than 99% of Brits who want to pronounce it close to the (again correct) French word that it is (i.e., Notrah Dahm). Again, very small point. Well done!

They we’re gonna go with that call on the pi but this time it was a delay because of the bottles on the field. An they decided to discuss it. Which usually never happens especially when it’s not reviewable

The NFL actually had a year not that long ago where they allowed coaches to challenge pass interference calls, but they scrapped it as most coaches lost the challenge. Pass interference calls are unfortunately often a discretionary call and it's based on the refs view of the play. But I do agree that despite this being a bad call they should've played it out. Going back on your calls makes the refs look worse.

A college prospect merely needs to be three years removed from high school. Each year, the top prospects in the NFL Draft often have college eligibility remaining. Players may leave school after their junior season or, in some cases, after their redshirt sophomore campaign.

Byu's national championship was a farce. A laughable Fraud. They never should of even been in the conversation. It was voted on, but they didn't beat anybody of worth that year. There was a bunch of controversy surrounding it. They went undefeated in the worst division in college football and beat terrible teams in non conference play. The Washington Huskies were absolutely the best team that year. The best team Byu beat was 6-5 Michigan. Meanwhile, the Huskies beat 5 ranked teams and lost to one. They finished 2nd in rankings, but there is no way that BYU team who would of went 6-5 at best in a power division would have beat any of the top ten teams.
