Obese and skinny people both have excess of sugar to keep cancer cell multiply. So where did sugar came from in skinny people? When our mind take stress, our body rapidly convert protein in our muscle for sugar, ready to fight our way out of life and death situation. Who is the beneficiary? Our cancer cell.

There is another big factor and that is thought/emotion. When a cell loses its program, it does not know what it is supposed to be and when it replicates it just becomes a shapeless meaningless mass that we call a tumor. Negative emotions such as fear and worry seem to play a big part in this, as they put us out of sync with harmony. Our reactions to the tribulations of life are very important in this respect. The Universe does not recognize a negative, and for sure what you intensely fear is likely to come your way because you are focusing on it! Love and appreciate your body. Every cell has consciousness. so give thanks every day for the work they do on our behalf.

I totally agreed with Dr. Jason Fung. Majority are from foods. I lived grew and thrived from a tiny island. I am currently encouraging our community to continue the life foods style to maintain a healthier life’s from our elders via social media in our language. An oldest woman have lived up to 106 as I can recalled. For those who moved to a western foods life style, non of them outlived their parents. Today, it’s very common for many people to have diabetes, high blood pressures, including different types of cancers. I am blessed that I am now 62 years old without any conventional maintenance. I’ve been asked many times what foods I am eating. Simple answers; the foods they don’t like to eat. Like, jungle foods and herbs. My advantage was I took serious personal researched, studies, learning and act on it. Mainly from Asian countries and tribal lives. Yes, I agree that insulin resistance can be the number one concerns with respect to health issues. Even fruits and vegetables are an alarming concern as to what nutrients are being absorbed. Great presentation.

Going out on a limb here: Alcohol especially consumed daily seems to be the one thing rarely brought up as a big factor contributing to metabolic diseases. It is only metabolized in the liver. Over one’s lifetime, it can eventually cause irreparable damage. It is not food for nutrition sake. I recently learned, it is in the top category for carcinogens and yet it is rarely discussed. A professor once told me cancer is caused by multiple instances of genetic damage in a cell's DNA. Usually your immune system destoys these damaged cells via apoptosis. But if your immune system is compromised in any way, some of these cells slip through and proliferate. So maybe we need to investigate all the factors including diet, stress, toxins etc. that suppress the immune system and affect gene expression. Does sugar suppress the immune system?

He does explain it. Cancer is a growth. Vitamins cause growth. When you have cancer you do not want to encourage growth. Concentrated vitamins (over and above what you naturally get in food) have been shown to be detrimental and should be avoided. Eating a healthy diet minimizes or negates the need for added supplements and the risk of taking vitamins outweighs the benefits. Watch from about the 21 min mark re: cell growth.

There are also cancers that come out of nowhere. I have Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma and my oncologist told me it's just dumb luck that you got it. We don't know yet what causes, he said. I did change my diet and I feel amazing, but i still have this cancer. This is a broad stroke type of thing they're talking about here and I do agree with him, but again, there are cancers that we just can't figure out yet. What do you say about these poor kids born with leukemia and such, right? Take care of your liver because he's your friend! Also, cut out alcohol or limit it.

Some say that all cancer begins at the cellular level due to mitochondrial damage which is caused by oxidative stress leading to inflammation. In normal cells the mitochondria are in charge of signalling apoptosis, programmed cell death. In cancer cells the mitochondria are damaged and have lost this signalling ability therefore no programmed cell death. Unrestricted cell growth then occurs. Also in cancer cells the mitochondria have lost their ability to switch to ketone bodies for energy production. Cancer cells need glucose exclusively for energy production.

A book called The China Study was the largest incidence of cancer study ever done. What was discovered was that diet contributes to different cancers. People who lived in very rural farmland eat mostly plants (vegetables, rice). People who live near the ocean eat more fish and have a higher incidence of some cancers, the same with more wealthy areas that ate from a more 'rich' diet that included more meat and dairy had a higher incidence of certain cancers. So many of the cancers are said to be the bullet that loads the gun where the gun is considered the genetic factors you are born with. So if you eliminate all meat and all dairy and eat vegetables and fruits (beans, nuts, seeds are your starches and proteins)... I was very sick. I had IBS every day and when I stopped eating meat and dairy, I stopped getting the symptoms of IBS! I was able to stop wearing adult diapers, go to school and start a new career.

Diet is definitely a big factor. The other less recognized one is chronic stress. Chronic stress lowers our immunity to fight cancerous cells. Seeds that can turn cancers are always there. The soil that nurtures should include chronic stress. Though stress does not directly cause cancer. it is indirectly linked to it. Stress is more than what we think. Stress includes 1. Work 2. Finance 3. Relationship 4. Personality 5. Habit, especially need to follow bad habits 6. Beliefs 7. Unresolved issues including past psychological pain 8. Disease 9. Desire causing craving Any one of them is good enough to weaken our immune system. Over time, cancer takes ground in our bodies. So stress regulation is very important.

I happened upon a KZbin channel that there’s a story on people with colon cancer. I don’t recall seeing one overweight person. In fact they were all normal thin people. One guy was young and thin, Married with a little boy, he died because doctors kept telling him it was just be IBS he went five months before he got a colonoscopy. Same thing with many other young people none of them being overweight at all.

My grandfather smoked from the time he was 12 till he died at 86. He was skinny though. And he ate a lot of fish. He was from a fishing town.

I weigh 130 pounds 5’6 my BMI is under 12. I walked 6 miles a day. I have no known Cancer in my family. At 52 I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. My BRCA came back negative! I had extensive Chemotherapy after a mastectomy. On paper my blood was perfect my GP stated. No other issues. My thinking there is not a cure because it is viral and should be treated as such. Think about it Cancer is at the cellular level just like MS, or Rheumatoid Arthritis, HIV-AIDS. I am not a Doctor but it’s cells that keep replicating and form tumors. The Coronavirus is the same the cells enter your respiratory system. Your body is attacking itself. Maybe someone should look into this as a viral situation. I do agree with sugar but there again I was not eating sugar. Trying to maintain my size 6 I stayed away from sugar.

Just because you're healthy doesn't mean you're not using beauty products that are filled with cancer causing heavy metals and chemicals, now imagine using them everyday. Your body sponges and absorbs everything you put on your skin. Including the toxins. This could be very well the reason behind your cancer.

What many people don't realize is everyone is saying stress, food and smoking causes cancer. It is important to understand one underlying element that affects with stress, smoking, and processed foods. Many don't know why including medical professionals. Here is the revelation to help everyone. No one can live without breathing oxygen after few minutes. Anything affects breathing and oxygen level in the body at a cellular level over time can cause cancer. So does stress affects breathing and oxygen level as well. Noticed when angry and we breath fast. When a person is under stress, their breathing pattern changes. Typically, an anxious person takes small, shallow breaths, using their shoulders rather than their diaphragm to move air in and out of their lungs.
