I understand your perspective, but look these people were fleeing because they (most of them) were in danger. Therefore, it is like breaking legs for lives. But Europe can decide not to care about those people, they can do whatever they want, it is their territory. But in that case, Europe has no right to go to other countries and tell them what is right and wrong. Furthermore, if there is no sympathy for all those innocent people who simply sought to live better lives by fleeing without permission, then, in my opinion, there is something profoundly wrong. ​@@GrayDogNowIDKThe only way to safely rescue the vessel would be to tow it from international waters for 40 miles till the nearest shore. The problem was that the vessel was unstable and uncooperative due to people fighting etc. People were constantly shifting and the ship which was poorly made on demand from traffickers was to have a maximum of 10 tons of cargo. It had over 30 tons moving around constantly, a recipe for disaster. When the ship capsized the fortunate ones were ejected into the sea. The others were almost immediately suffocated due to change of pressure caused from the vessel trapping the air and sinking rapidly. If the captain of the vessel doesn't cooperate during a towing operation the ship is also likely to capsize. So it was a damn if I do, damn if I don't situation.

BBC should also call an investigator for marine accidents to present the facts as well. Towing for over 40 miles an uncooperating vessel that has over 3 times the maximum cargo constantly shifting around is a rescue operation that nobody would safely carry out. As already told the fortunate ones that were ejected in the sea could be rescued, the others trapped within the hull were dead within 1 or 2 minutes due to air pressure change. A body retrieval operation there is next to impossible due to the sea being over 4500 meters deep
