Greece is the first international adventure my wife and I enjoyed together 20 years ago. I’d been there before but it was her first time out of America. Watching your videos has the memories of us a wonderful time flooding back and everything you ate in this video were our favorites! We ate grilled octopus and gyros almost everyday and ate our weight in Bougatsa though never had it the super sweet way with honey. We were there during a record heat wave (114 F was the highest) so even the Acropolis was closed as so many people were having heat stroke. On the day it finally opened we ran up to the top so I could take photos before the other tourists reached the top so watching this I was relating to your experience of the climb and heat up on top. What a wonderful video to enjoy today while being grounded at home until international travel opens back up. Thank you so much!

Concerning Freddo Espresso, it is not traditional greek coffee, but it is one of the most popular coffees that Greeks drink. Moreover, you can choose how sweet you want it to be. There are three options, no sugar, medium sugar, and sweet. Lastly, it is served and is drunk with a straw.

A few tips about freddo espresso: 1. Use a straw for taste reasons, the foam isn't tasty either and it will eventually turn into coffee 2. You can order how sweet you want to be to your taste, I don't add any sugar 3. Btw there isn't any water added, it's the ice that has diluted it

Nice! You could use those straws for your cold coffee. In Greece, cold coffees are very common, but since they have thick foam, a straw is necessary, so that you don't get brown lips or drink the bitter taste of the foam. Freddo Espresso is quite recent as a custom drink, but Frappe [cold coffee made with stirred mix of cold water, sugar and coffee powder, usually served with milk] has been famous for more than half a century, and only recently has it been replaced by Espresso and/or Freddo Capuccino [milk foam added on top of Freddo Espresso]. I hope you have had a very nice time in my country!
