Just finished making this and it turned out even tastier than it sounded while watching. Will leave it bottled and unopened for about a week or two to let all the spices and mustard soak into the green apples. Like everyone else who cooks, I snacked on it throughout: an hour into it marinating in salt, after wiping off all the salt, then only with the added spices and finally after mixing in the mustard oil. Each stage passed the test😇

If you look at every language.It has some tracing back to Hinduism and Sanskrit.Even English words sometimes are Sanskrit or come from it.I believe that this was a very old language spoken but coming from the world's oldest way of life.That's why so many words sounds and is spelt similarly to a Hindu language

Can we use 🔴 apple also if 🟢 not available?
@thatfijitaste3 ай бұрын
Hi @call882! You can use red apples but it will be quite a sweet achar! It may be good if you can find a variety of red apple that isn’t so sweet.. we haven’t tried it but you can make a small batch to see if you like it ..

Can you use any other oil instead of mustard oil
@thatfijitaste2 жыл бұрын
Hi Leah, I don’t think you’ll get that ‘Achar’ or pickle flavour without the mustard oil.. you can try making a small batch with your preferred oil to see if the taste is to your liking - before you try a bigger batch?

Can I use crispy green apples?
@thatfijitaste2 жыл бұрын
Hello! Yes you can use crispy apples but don’t store it for too long as the moisture will start to make it go bad!

Hi Pallavi, you won’t need to use sugar because the apples themselves will have some sweetness. But it’s completely up to your taste!

Why did my have moulds after a while?
@thatfijitaste5 ай бұрын
Hello there! There apples are not sun dried (they’re usually made to eat within 3-7 days) so keeping them for much longer could be the reason why your batch has gone bad. Perhaps next time, make a smaller batch and eat within the week 😊 it’s a quick recipe so you can always make more when you feel like it! ❤
@zebunishahajiani69255 ай бұрын
Hallo THANKYOU for your respond. Yes next time I will refgrate after cooling and use them soon. Wish you a HAPPY DAY. All the best. GOD bless.
