Video of the GB&W at Broadway Tower and Norwood yard in 1988 and 1992. The timeless Alco sound, black exhaust and cabooses - with a cameo appearance by the CNW.

Its amazing that GBW used that small yard, and got so much done there.

I have often thought the same. Short tracks. And road crossings at the west end. Thank you for watching and commenting.

I'm a new subscriber to your channel and I live in Detroit, Michigan. I enjoy Railroad History from back in the day. I still remember, the Soo Line, and the Wisconsin Central Railroads that, were in Michigan's Upper Peninsula before CN took over both Railroads 7:31

@@killerbee6310 I remember back in the day, and Grand Trunk was a Detroit Based Railroad Company. And, CN bought Grand Trunk and took over it's routes. I am also glad to see that you have Grand Trunk Engines and I am glad that, the Grand Trunk Engines have not been scrapped, and they are still working. 7:44

I have some stuff from the west end shot at the same time. I also have some I acquired of the Green Bay railroads in the early 1960's. So much to do....
