ECONOMIC INFLATION: The way I see it is that regardless of the currency utilized (gold, silver, fiat, crypto, etc), economic inflation is still economic inflation. ANY economic inflation over previous economic inflation, overtime, eventually becomes exponential economic inflation. If an entities' wages, benefits and investments do not keep up with the true cost of inflation, then the entity falls behind in buying power and becomes poorer. A nation will eventually fail as will a global economy will eventually fail with ever increasing economic inflation because most people do not have wages, benefits and investments that keep up with the true cost of inflation. Math is still math.

Listened to this entire episode - great guest and great information. (I'm retired AF...23 years) and I've heard all the jokes minimizing my branch of service -- but I'd say in general, some military folks may have an elevated SA... not all...but some. My SA is high -- every place I go, even at the Gym I look for places to hide or escape. When I"m outside walking my dog I look for 2-legged and 4-legged threats and I think of both my dog and myself -- and what I can do to protect us to hide, run etc. I carry pepper spray and my sig 9 -- but what I really need is some form of self-defense course ... and I will be following Mike to get more pointers...

Situational awareness is everything. I’m a nerdy girl that grew up in the hood. Knowing when something is about to go down is key to surviving. It amazes me how domesticated ppl are and how unaware they are of their surroundings. I usually scope out any place when I first enter. Looking for where the exits are just in case. I like to situate myself so that I can see who is coming in or out of the establishment or have my husband sit in that position so that one of us is aware of what is going on. It’s why I married my husband and not the college guys bc they just had absolutely no street smarts. As much as it is nice for me to have it, I didn’t want to always be the only one in the relationship looking out lol.

Good Morning to you both Good samaritan laws? Clearly doesn't exist in GB. My daughter at the beginning of the year came of a guys bicycle. He witnessed said accident. Proceeded to take his bicycle off the scene and left her, putting it politely 'in a critical life threatening state.' According to CID and traffic cops. This man committed NO CRIME. Thankfully 22 mins later a dog walker found her and called emergency services. My beautiful daughter is alive having recovered from a head injury collapsed lung and more. However her psychological emotional recovery is somewhat hindered, partly due to this man's lack of CARE to do the right thing. Resilience and much more, we need to emphasise more of same. Thankyou to both of you. Very Grateful of your shared conversations. 💜

My navy friend and I often talk about things similar to this conversation, mostly jn the problems we see. He thinks it is a primarily a cultural problem. The emphasis of certain values has changed, pouring money into media rather than resilience and preparedness. And if it is resilience and prepardness, it is sold as a commodity rather than being taught in school.

We are all so complacent and filled with such a false sense of security. We always think about the doors of our homes being a barrier to intruders. They’re somewhat strong and difficult to get through ( provided we lock them), yet we have the most fragile and easily breakable material for our many windows. I mean , a 5 year old with a baseball bat can probably break through them. Anyway…… sleep tight.

preparedness is not something that most of us could do. Not for longer time anyway. A week maybe. 2 weeks is already a struggle due to sanitation and water and this assuming that nobody in the community is seriously and chronically sick. Longer periods and the state power is still not there it means most of us die if the reason is societal collapse and not nuclear war or a big rock falling on Yucatan (or elsewhere). 100ya I suspect quite some would still die but the chance the societal collapse happens was lower and the ability to grow food was higher. It is not about not getting prepared. 99% will die if the major disaster strikes not because of the disaster but follow on effects. So there is a level of preparedness that makes sense for most of us. Above that it is for hard nuts that already gave up on civilization already. So major earthquake, hurricane, an accident or home invasion and of course defensive driving and emergency kit. BTW - I find it funny that one take Ukraine as an example for anything other than organizing an ethnic state (which it is already 2023). The countries that US leveled to some extent last 25y are a plenty. Some of them never recovered to previous levels see Libya for instance and what are us troops doing in Syria?

INDIVIDUALS IN A LARGER SOCIETY OF INDIVIDUALS: Accurately and honestly answer the enclosed questions in this file: Consider the following: (Whether human, AI, or other species): We appear to be individuals in a larger society of individuals. Whether it is an individual human in a larger society of humans, or an individual AI in a larger society of AI's, or an individual in a larger society of all species in existence throughout all of existence. What is 'best' for an individual, may or may not be what is 'best' for the larger society of individuals. And conversely, what is 'best' for the larger society of individuals, may or may not be what is 'best' for the individual. But, if a decision had to be made concerning a certain topic, of who's 'best' should take precedent over the other's 'best', who's 'best' should take precedent? If for an individual, which individual? All individuals? If for a larger society of individuals, which larger society of individuals? A certain group? A certain nation? A certain species? All species in existence throughout all of existence? And who decides? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide? Should I decide how you should exist? Should you decide in how I should exist? Should others decide how we both should exist? Should we decide how others should exist? And who even decides in how to decide? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide? And whatever is decided and by whom, there might be entities who are being forced to exist how they do not want to exist, which could be a source of animosity, which could lead to further violence and death. This whole natural tension between the individual and the larger society of individuals, who decides, and by what authority they and they alone get to decide, is the cause of much strife, suffering and death in this world. But still, while we consciously exist, how should we, individually and as a larger society of individuals, exist while we do exist? How should we help take care of the young, old, ill and needy, if even at all? How would we want to receive help should we be individually young, old, ill and/or needy, if even at all? How should those be treated who are being forced to exist how they do not want to exist? How should we treat others if we are being forced to exist how we do not want to exist? And who decides? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide? And where does the money and resources come from to do what we would like to do for how we would like to exist while we do exist? It's all basically about who is in control, so as to make the decisions, for who's benefit. With all the consequences and ramifications, seen and unseen, of all of our collective choices. Then we all will still die in the end one day from something, we all will still forget everything we ever knew and experienced, and we all will still be forgotten one day in future eternity as if we never ever existed at all in the first place, regardless of how we all existed while we existed. An entity truly exists throughout all of future eternity, or they don't. It appears we don't in actual reality, and as such, all of life itself is all ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Death is freedom from life and eternal death awaits us all. Or so the current analysis would indicate. Individually and as a society of Individuals: For every moment that passes, one less moment being alive AND one moment closer to being not alive. * Added note: Current Analysis: Long Term: (Very Short Version): All life on and from this Earth is eventually going to die and go extinct. No exceptions at this time. This Earth and all on it are all just a waste of spacetime in this universe. (And note also, those who cannot, or choose not to, face the above apparent reality, often delude themselves with fairy tales of alternatives).

But but but …… Climate Change!!! This show was amazing! I’m also focused on numbers, Percentages, statistics, and perspective. We have all these mainstream media outlets that constantly catastrophize global warming and guns. But are these activists doing to actually survive this so called guaranteed extinction level event? They’re out holding signs , screaming, blocking roadways rather than preparing for what they think is inevitable by training, farming, learning to fish, hunt, can goods, start a fire, build a shelter, purify water. They are all in for the most rude awakening of their lives if the climate change they believe in actually DOES happen.

I agree. I would love to pick up some skills that could serve me in times of catastrophe and preparedness - practical first aid, a self defense course, tool making/blacksmithing, and practical firearm training, but I spend most of my time working and trying to achieve a good career. I really wish some of these skills were at the very least college electives. Perhaps when I achieve that stable future, I will chip away at some of these skills..

ABSOLUTE TRUTH REALITY: 'TSE': Truth Seeking Existentialist (One who seeks the real truth concerning existence and topics related to existence). Trying to be an honest sincere truth seeker, I have to accept the real apparent truth whatever that truth might be, whether it makes me happy or not, or is beneficial for me and/or all of life itself or not. To not do so would mean I were not an honest sincere truth seeker. Funny thing about absolute truth reality: It still is and always will be absolute truth reality. (Whether people know that truth or not and/or whether they believe that truth to be true or not). And for those who claim that 'absolute truth' does not actually exist, well for that to be absolutely true, would mean absolute truth truly exists. Absolute truth is the secure basis to build all analysis on. "The best way to deal with absolute truth reality is to deal with absolute truth reality. And if one is not dealing with absolute truth reality, then one is not dealing with absolute truth reality. Find and deal with absolute truth reality." (OSICA) 'Absolute Truth' being defined as the 100% correct and 100% complete set of facts that no human has nor is even physically capable of having in totality. Hence also 'why' we all need to work together for the common good. Nobody knows it all nor can do it all. Absolute truth is NOT a popularity contest. There were times in human history where only a single human being knew more of the real truth that was discovered than any other human in history. And note also: Denying future reality will not make future reality any less real. People just won't be prepared for it is all.
