The program is implemented within the framework of the project KEHOP-1.2.1-18-2019-00250 entitled “Creating a Climate Strategy and Awareness-Raising in Székesfehérvár”.
Climate change is one of the biggest environmental risks, affecting not only the economy but also the lifestyles and living conditions of the population directly. Mitigating climate change can only be achieved through global cooperation, but the preparation for the adverse effects can be effective only at local level. That is why we consider it extremely important to discuss our good practices with our international partners and twin cities.
Recognizing the importance of all this, the Climate Strategy of Székesfehérvár was completed, and a dialogue has been launched to finalize the professional paper, in which anyone can express their opinions and suggestions.
As the next step in awareness raising, we announced our climate conference with the involvement of our international partners.
The aim of this project is to show some of the areas where we could already manage to achieve sustainable results in Székesfehérvár and in its twin cities and on the other hand what challenges we face locally on the way to a greener and more livable city.
