@southernbelle816 I think he was referring more to an unconscious reaction from the part of the - what do you call the government's assembly in the US? (I'm not American, sorry) . It's not that they are overtly racist, but just an ingrained reaction that if someone is part of a minority, you have a lingering doubt in the back of your mind. I got the same when in my country, a Sikh chose to run for a party's leadership... I'm not racist, but he's "not like me," so I got an icky feeling at first.

@hotcharger66 Nothing against Jason here, but my question is, why is he there? Did they play? If they did, then he should be there, but otherwise, he's not an official GD member (I heard in several places that he was asked to join, but he declined), so if it's just for an interview, then he should not be there. Maybe that's why he's awkward - he's in a grey zone - so, unofficial member = no microphone. Oh well. Maybe his presence here herald some addition to the lineup? O_o

Jason is a great addition for Pinhead Gunpowder but everytime I see Green Day play, he fucks up. He gets the band out of time, plays the solo wrong, etc... If you listen to them as a 3 piece they sound so tight. Then when he comes in, it sounds so much sloppier.

And, to be honest, Canadian politicians rarely get heat for stuff unrelated to politics (and plenty of heat for bad political moves and decisions LOL). I love how Billie Joe doesn't spare Obama any more than the TP. That actually shows he's not exactly taking sides, but rather being very critical of the whole mess.
