This scene was pure gold. A one-to-one conversation between the hero and the villain. The villain explains his motive and philosophy which has a root of sense to it, compares himself to the hero, tries to make him an ally for his pursuits because he recognizes the power and ability of the hero. The hero rejects the villain’s evil pursuit. Short, sweet, and to the point with memorable lines. I love this movie to bits.

The Green Goblin, the only villain who really tried to team up with Spider-Man. He really allowed the option of creating atrocities and chaos together, and told him his own, albeit insane, but very close to the truth point of view so that Spidey could understand him. I like how he saw him not only as a rival, but also as a colleague with incredible abilities. As for me, this is another bright distinguishing ability of a Goblin from other villains.
