Well Hal defeated the Lantern Corp single handedly. He defeated the Guardians and merged with the Spectre of God's wrath. Kyle wore the Green, Black, Blue and White power ring. Meanwhile John...... Was dating Hawkgril. Impressive but...

I've always thought that giving everyone Green Lanterns the same title is a little too confusing. I get that they're _all_ Green Lanterns, but giving everyone the exact same alias with no difference in names seems a little nonsensical, to me.

You do realize ‘green lantern’ isn’t a hero name right? Its a military title. Like the green lantern corp. And even then, why does it matter? There’s been multiple incarnations of other superheroes too. -Flash had Barry Allen and Wally west -Batman had Bruce Wayne and Dick Greyson -Aquaman had Arthur Curry, Kaldur’ahm, and Garth And those are all just DC heroes. If we expand to Marvel, it gets really extensive with the number of spider-men.

Space Marines. Uniforms cogs in a machine. They all have the same power source. Individual biology certainly plays a role. But will power. Sinestro has very strong will power and attacked the Guardians themselves. Hal Jordan defeated the Guardians en masse & seized the power battery. Over powered squads of GL. Kyle Rainer wielded many different power rings and became the first white lattern. And then there John Stewart who....um...ah..give me a minute..
