Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone Prime Plus - Overview & Burn In

In this video I do an overview and burn in of the Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone Prime Plus! I won this grill at a KCBS comp raffle and I am super excited to get to cooking on it! This is obviously the SS version and it has the WiFi. I believe the the Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone Prime Plus is now being called the "Ledge" on Green Mountain Grills webpage but I could be incorrect on that. This Daniel Boone Prime Plus has a bunch of really cool and useful features that Green Mountain Grills really put a lot of thought in to in my opinion. Like always I really appreciate you watching! And I know I didn't show any of my turn in boxes but for those of you that are curious how I did at the KCBS comp go find Mad Horse BBQ on facebook because I posted my results there.

Really interested in this grill. Also interested in the gen2 weber ex4, which seems like they fixed the issues from the first one. But I'm definitely trying to stay under 1k. Thanks for being so thorough, would love an update in the future!

Great video Brian! I was deciding between the 2nd generation weber and this and I think you made up my mind for me. Say, you have nice pavers in your backyard. Does this baby leak at all? Do you put anything underneath when you cook?

I'm worried about buying one of these because it does seem like it comes down to luck with this brand. I want this, but leaning toward the Traeger Fremont at Costco only because they'll take it back if something goes wrong. Any advice? Does one compare with the other?

Well I’ve never cooked on a Traeger. And everyone I know besides me has had luck with GMG. I think both are good grills to be honest so I don’t think you’ll go wrong with either.

No rust what so ever but I do keep it covered and I store it in my garage. Very good smoke flavor for a pellet grill IMO.
