@@PurifiedSmith … at least this deck isn’t too full of rares and mythics. Also the pack leader has a lot of other homes. But seriously … I have enjoyed this magecraft mechanic ever since Crokeyz tried many magecraft decks in STX and ultimately found it not competitive enough. The wild shape card turned everything around giving another hexproof and trample effect. I have more success with this deck than mono green mainly because my opponent under estimates it. Recently powered through a treasure deck that dropped a mascot exhibition when he already had ghast and merchant on the battle field with a light scribe and luminance for lethal. Very explosive deck that is fun to play.

37:25, giving trample to mavinda does win you the game on the spot. at that time she was a 1/3 turtle (+2counters)(+3 triggers), playing another wild shape makes it to leonin scribe 7/7 mavinda 3/3 elephant (+2 counters)(+4 triggers) = 9 power 7+9-5= 11 damages.

Been having a lot of fun with this deck on ranked ladder -- making some tweaks that improved my consistency and made the deck more budget-friendly. Cut one Mavinda and two pack leaders for 3 Clarion Spirits. You will get much more value from the light-scribes this way, and honestly your card draw/value cards are irrelevant as soon as opponent plays a chunky creature, so you want to play wide/fast. Academic Probation naming the expected board wipe is pretty huge, as you usually only need 4-5 turns to win. Thanks for the video as always! I love this one.

I stayed 'til the end yadda yadda monk + bahamut sounds fine, i've also found that in similar decks two copies of Kaya's Onslaught goes a long ways especially if you shave 1 Mavinda for it since mythics. other cut is harder but i'd probably go with a one of the blizzard brawls. foretell as curve filler in hands where you only have two-drops + spells is pretty clutch because playing stuff unprotected is not pimpin'. Also probably two show of confidence. cuts are probably sorcery speed things or the wolf. the double green is hard when all your protections spells are green, easier if not 2022 standard because we still have Fight As One.

I tried brewing a White-Green Magecraft deck recently, but ran Clarion Spirits and Jaspera Sentinels instead; didn't perform as well as I'd like. Kinda curious to try out this version, as soon as I get enough rares for Pack Leaders. Honestly didn't think of putting Pack Leaders here, especially with the GG cost, but it makes a lot of sense, since there's only 1 cantrip in the deck (Guiding Voice is a pseudo-cantrip though), and this decks needs a lot of green anyways. No idea if the Dragonguards are better than Clarion Spirits, guess only experimenting will tell. Love the vid!
@chrisdempsey31703 жыл бұрын
I stayed till the end, I think that an improvement for the deck could be to take out pack leader for something like ranger class. You don't get the draws from pack tactics, but it's way easier to cast and gives you "advantage" by giving other ways to spend mana. Alternatively, clarion spirit, but topdecking a clarion spirit is a real feels bad. Topdecking ranger class at least gives you ways to spend Mana and let's you play your other creatures from the top.
