The floor looks gorgeous. I agree that using the same floor all through the house looks much better. We put the same wood down through our house. I don’t know if it’s a different type of flooring though because we had to put down a thick underlayment first for our floor. It works really great for making the floor really quiet to walk on and it keeps it warmer too.

Everything looks gorgeous! Love the floor! My sister bought a 14’by 60’ “Buddy” mobile home several years ago in a 55 and older MHC in Florida. The first thing she did before moving in was to strip all flooring install LVT,painted all walls and ceiling white,cabinets white,installed new appliances including dishwasher(not originally installed),louvered closet doors, a barn door on main bath door. She loves it it’s so open and airy. It’s very affordable for her on a fixed income. I love all the wonderful renovations you two have done. I’m totally addicted to your channel. Love how you are raising your boys. I had four feral children too! They are all grown 52 thru 38 years old,they are such a blessing.

I have a combination of ceramic tile and engineered dark old schoolhouse look hickory in my condo. There is absolutely nothing that can be dragged or scratched into the old schoolhouse look that would look out of place. It already looks like a million children played hockey on it a hundred years ago. I like the streaks of color for that reason. Enjoy it! Imperfections are the way to go unless you are a milliinaire with live in help!

I like that floor! We did 800+sf, 5 rooms with 7 doorways, 2 sets of stairs in one continuous run with similar flooring. I wasn't sure it would look good either but when it was all done, i love it.

I just showed Miss Linda these colors and wood, she loves the combo and that's what we are going to use for our house redo hopefully by Oct, we are still working on the replacement of the AC/Heat with the Mr. Cool Mini Split a 3ton 2 zone, with the heat/temp everyday at or over 102, I can't work a lot at my age, over 80, but we'll get it done, someday, lol, Later

That's awesome to hear! It's the exact reason we ever started doing videos -- to try and help or inspire others. We're looking forward to the siding. As with everything you have done, the floor looks fantastic. Now only ten miles of woodwork and it will be finished. We have hickory kitchen cabinets. One thing you do not want to do is while unloading the dishwasher with a door above open, raise up and hit your head on the corner of the door. Like hitting rasor blades and it will make you blead.

Family projects are a great way to teach children good work ethics and skills. I always enjoy how you, Sam and Angela, involve your boys as much as possible as you work on your home and property. Looks like they still get plenty of play time and quality time with Mom and Dad, too - they should be well-rounded adults, children you can be proud of, with fond memories of their own to tell their children in years to come. Sam, my husband had issues with bone spurs when he was younger. Do you have surgery planned in the future? The floors - oh my, do they look GOOD!!

I’m not keen on surgery at all. I’m hoping once we get the house done and can take projects at an easier pace I won’t have as many flare ups and can manage it without meds or surgery.

I used to have bone spur pain, it was awful!! Then I read somewhere about an exercise that completely cured it. I’ve never had a problem again. It’s been years. While you’re sitting on a chair, keeping your heel on the floor, pick up a marble with your toes, and drop it into a coffee mug. Again, keeping your heel on the floor the whole time. Do this several times, takes a week or two. I didn’t even use marbles or a mug, I just pretended they were there. I hope it works for you!!

You may already be aware, but I found it so much easier when making straight/square cuts to just use the score and snap method. Easy even with stone core, way less mess and more accurate cuts.

We love our smart core floor. We let a piece outside during heat and snow rain for 6 months and it still looked as good as the day we put it out there. Yall doing a great job.

Beautiful! I wouldn't mind living in your lovely home. I love all the ideas y'all have come up with. My husband and I have lived in mobile homes most of our married lives. Not before. And I like the single wide better. We sold our place with one we really loved and moved south to be near our boys and our only grandchild. So we live in a doublewide and I do not like it as I did our single wide. Although it has more footage I feel like the single wide was a bigger space for us. So to me your home is lovely. The flooring and colors you have picked make it look light and very spacious. And those precious boys to share such a home with. To me Jesus has really blessed y'all.
