Love this keep the bonus bonus video footage and keep your bloopers absolutely love it! Also the knee highs my grandparents when take after their onions dried and store that thing ends and them and hang out they did Peppers that way to once they were dried and between each one that time. Then drop another one time knot drop another one an it kept the from rotting they would hand them in cold dark places in house or where they wouldn't freeze. But i do know i am glad found your channel an i am going to try an keep watching all the older an newest videos i have alot ahead of me.

Great idea. You gave just a little peak of the other half of the table installed at the end. On the bonus footage I thought you were going to make a sling for the watermelons. Never saw it done that way. Will be interesting to watch the progress. Much success with fall garden.
@sam-and-angela4 жыл бұрын
The other half was just sitting on two storage totes as a temporary table for the extra onions. It will not be left there all the time. I'm thinking of putting it where the rain barrels are, or maybe up high as a storage shelf, but aren't sure yet.
@beammeup77714 жыл бұрын
I just love your videos! Without fail, they always bring a smile to my face. I think your gardening's been a huge success this year guys. You learn as you grow, and overall because you've never let your growing challenges deter you, your yield has been fabulous! Especially considering the circumstances. So from me it's a very WELL DONE to both of you, AND your little helpers!!! :-)) That table was a great idea, and it actually made your greenhouse look very "Shabby Chic when set against the white backdrop!!" You may have started a new fashion craze!!! lol As for the melons Angela, I don't know how practical this is for you, but I have seen those socks cut up the entire length, and turned into a full on hammock. It worked really well at supporting the melons as they continued to grow huge. Just two ties to hold them in place on the trellis, and Bob's Your Uncle!! They held perfectly fine. If they outgrow the sock, you might try that. If you should find another partially written comment from me floating around, I'm not drunk!! The storm's just reached me on the East Coast, and my message disappeared so I had to start again! lol Thank you for sharing guys. Great stuff!! Loved it!!

Peas are easy. Do you have a blanching pot? If not, get one cuz, with peas it's the only way to put them up (well, for me, anyway). They're cheap and can be used for spaghetti too :) ...now all ya gotta do is Google "blanching peas for the freezer" There's tons of info out there. Only requires a freezer, and freezer bags big enough to hold about 2 cups of peas (that's enough for one meal for my brood) and ICE....don't forget the ice. Oh, and a couple of large bowls. You'll see what I mean :) They only blanch for about a minute and a half, then into the ice bath. With a blanching pot, it's way easy. Don't forget to drain 'em really well after the ice bath. Your own, home-grown peas will be the best you've ever tasted....trust me :)
