@GreenAquaShop5 жыл бұрын
I got scared too, but you know - it happened to me before - so I kept my calm. Kinda... 😇 Thanks for watching Jerry, actually there are many identical plants that come from many different suppliers and packaging forms, so the real number would be around 150-200? Taking in consideration that there are big groups of plants that I mentioned in the video, the actual number of latin names one has to remember is probably below 100. That's not so dangerous.
@Kapkeh5 жыл бұрын
@@GreenAquaShop Thanks for your reply! "Kinda" haha. I'll keep that in consideration, +-100 it is! Have a good day.

Good Lights cost quite a bit. Water proof lights: Priceless. It really pays off and decent LED lights are a LOT safer than any other light source. Using regular light bulbs can be lethal.

Such beautiful plants. All the stores around my area have plants that are covered with algae and other pests. Made a mistake by adding a plant without quarantining it beforehand now I have freshwater limpet snails.

Nice video again, love my plants,can never have enough. But what I experienced is that some species don't do well in my tank. I know some plants need another setup, but I do try them out. There is One in particular I have tried several times but I don't succeed and I have never seen you handling it: ludwigia species white. I know it's a cultivar but is there a reason why you don't use it? What I m also curious about is that some plants can't go with another species, maybe you can explain that some time( there are plants who kill the others just by standing next to it) It's a difficult puzzle to grow everything well and remain your balance, it's like a full time hobby. Love it though. I heard you spoiled Peter with a new setup/ scape? Looking forward to that one! Have a great week.
@GreenAquaShop5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, Peter's video is coming out on next week. It turned out quite nice. Well, about the plants overgrowing each other - that's a very natural process. The stronger prevails. It happens to all plants really, I don't think there's to be done anything about that. I did not encounter the Ludwigia white before, but the others might have... We only have plants that could successfully be nursed by our partners - and that we thought it's worth looking at. Thanks for pointing this plant out, we'll try it in the future. Cheers.

This is a very good introduction, thank you. Can I make a request or suggestion? PLease can you split this is to a 3 part video for the three levels of plants so you have a bit more time on each plant but mainly so you can include what a plant looks like once it's settled and taken hold? You say it yourself that many of the plants look nothing like what they do when you buy them so it would be good to have like a 3 and 6 month follow up so you know what you're getting in to with each plant... Maybe that is too much to ask.
@GreenAquaShop4 жыл бұрын
I think if you watch more of our videos you'll see the changes for many types of plants. The end of the setup videos is usually the 2-3 week state, and we always have a cinematic much later when they are totally adapted.
