That map is great but those measurements mean nothing if the room is rectangular or large. How do you then work out the distance etc between the lights?

@@Tony91177 what do you mean the principal is the same in any room you make your marks and away you go. Or do you mean how do you plan where to put your down lights

U measured the distance when you made the plan. For 4 lights you only need distance off the walls. And between lights is whatever you have left. If you have more lights you take measurement between the lights too. U need 2 measuremets for each light. Even if i have 30 of them it works just fine.
