I do a lot of vertical gardening. This looks like a nice system since it has lots of space for roots and moisture retention.

I liked the okra pod used as a plug to stop compost getting in the hole 😄

ha, I was just thinking about something you said today. Now a video from you. Mysterious ways. Anyway you mentioned in your last video about sifting your cotton compost before planting seeds. I tried it and it worked very well for me. My compost was very woody with some rather large chunks so I sifted them out and the seedlings are doing much better than the unaltered compost. It worked so well I sifted the perlite and peat moss too. Anyway, thanks for the wisdom!

+ElGatoLoco698 Once sifted through 1/4 inch hardware cloth you end up with a loose, well-draining soil. I would recommend it over most potting soils you can buy from the garden center……Donald

Glad to see your doing well Neighbor. I have been working building some fences and doing a lot of filming for my you tubes vids I just need to do a lot of editing on them before posting. That planter would be awesome for some Herbs and Strawberry plants. I need to get me one and give it a try when I get a better budget, I am still doing the bucket thang. Good to see again ole friend.

I guess the weight from all of the soil gives it the stability. I was wondering how it would do in the wind would if the wax peppers got pretty big? might catch the wind. Chuck

Hey Donald, do you need to turn the planter on a regular basis so that the plants that are in the shade get enough sun light?
