I’m always wondering who is the person that doesn’t like your work and videos. Maybe he or she should show us how it’s done😄🥲. Thank you for making good videos and showing us how it is done.

I wanna say, I love your videos and strategy, I’d love to see the nursery, I was planning a trip over but COVID happened. Would you mind making a 5min video just showing around your nursery? I’d really appreciate it since I can’t go see it myself

What a beautiful tree. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your series with it. Bit of feedback for the channel, you could do with getting a lapel mic, it'll give much more balanced audio as the camera moves closer and further away from you.

Love thos channel. Never saw a demo on a hinoki before. Cant wait to see the progress on this tree. My second design would have been to air layer the smaller section off. But i think its better to keep it

Hi my friend. All the Hinoii Obtusa Nana Cypess in my country are grafted. How can i get cuttings from the top part of the grafting point. ? Also is it possible to air layer above the grafted point ? If so how long does it take to root for cutting and air layring method to root ? Which method you suggest ? I want a real ungrafted Hinoiki Obtusa Nana Already than you for your reply 🙏🙏

yes you can, but I'd try regular green versions over golden ones, they tend to look better and have more energy.

Fascinating video! I've just purchased a small hinoki from a nursery. It's in poor soil. Would you advise repotting (in June) into bonsai substrate or trying to keep it alive in nursery soil and repotting next spring?
