About a week ago I watched my first Greer movie and now I'm just obsessed with her and her movies. Certainly one of my favorite actresses for sure now! -3

What a sense of humour she had! You know those kinds of people you could just listen to forever? I could, quite literally, listen to her talk all day about anything and everything! It's a pity these videos aren't hours long! Haha! But wonderful to have the opportunity to see them. Thank you!

In latter years, Ms.Garson married a rich Texan and moved to Dallas. From time to ttime, she shopped in an exclusive dress shoppe where I worked. She was a charmingly, nice lady with, of course, a distinctive manner and way of speaking. When she couldn't come to us-we went to her.Our staff liked her a lot.She and her husband were quite philanthropic. One of their greatest contributions to Dallas is a medical facility which bears their name. She was full of grace and truly a class act.

She was a huge star but always gracious and classy. Was in a number of great films, loved her with Walter Pigeon in "Mrs. Minnever."

There she was at age EIGHTY-ONE still beautiful and more charming and beguiling than ever. The first time I became aware of Greer Garson she read "Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus" -- on the Ed Sullivan Show. That was more than fifty years ago, I imagine, and it remains one of the most moving experiences of my life. Just beautiful!

Superb actress. Beautiful lady with beautiful diction. Random Harvest is such a lovely film; no sex, violence, bad language, abuse etc. Quite simply a pure minded love story. I wish more films were made like that.

sosad her classyness is often overlooked she accepted Oscars on behalf of Sophia Loren and Vivian Leigh P.S. Can someone post her full acceptance speech for Mrs. Miniver?

As everyone below agrees, she's lovely to look at and joy to listen to. and a good actress to boot. As James Agee said, he would have like to see her do Lady Macbeth. Never either got or took the chance.
