Hi Greg👋 I’m currently using Web Sharp Pro v5.9.6 in Photoshop, and in the Web Sharp Pro settings under Options for HDR (32-bit) source images, I’m wondering if I should select Output - Convert to SDR when saving images for websites like Shutterstock or Adobe Stock? These are regular images, not HDR edited or treated as HDR. In the past, I didn’t pay much attention, and the output was always set to HDR, so does that mean I was saving regular images in HDR if the output was set to HDR instead of SDR? If I choose Output - Convert to SDR, what should the Tone Map Method be set to? Should I go with Interactive (first time)? If you have a tutorial or resource that explains these parameters, I’d love to check it out and learn more. Thanks!🙏

When exporting as a JPG gain map, the fallback is safe on any site. However, I would probably just use an SDR export for which only support SDR for the moment (for reasons which are complicated, we aren't 100% optimal yet - but in the not too distant future I would tell you to just export anything as a gain map and you'd be optimal anywhere). Interactive "first time" is probably ideal. Click the "tutorials" button in the panel for more details.

Is there a way for it to not add _auto to every file with the LR integration?

I gather the new Web Sharp Pro v5 features only works with LR Classic, not LR CC. Am I interpretting correctly?

Works with anything that can export files with the extra characters in the name and have the output opened in PS

@@gregbenzphotography Thank you for the quick reply, Greg. Your statement is true. However, Lightroom CC lacks Lightroom Classic's flexible export features. LR CC doesn't support adding the special name and invoking Photoshop post-processing. Regardless, I bought Web Sharp Pro anyway. I'll create a script to add the special name to exported files. I'll import the Web Sharp Pro exported versions to LR CC manually, which, hopefully, will end up being stored with the original photos from the same date. Despite the clunky workflow, Web Sharp Pro offers me desired features that LR CC does not. I anticipate the panel will save me time.

@@imSteveSmith Bridge suffers the same limitation, but you never know if LR CC might add support for more export options. Most people I know use Classic. I haven't tried digging into ways to work around those limits of CC, but as long as you can open multiple images from LRCC to PS, you could simply click "Batch" to process all open images. Not much more work than the fully integrated option I showed for LR Classic. Might be a good option for you.

@@gregbenzphotography I hope LR CC will support more export options. I agree that most people still use Classic. There are CC features, such as automatic offsite backup, that I really appreciate. But I understand why many people prefer Classic. Regardless, after a few days of using Web Sharp Pro, I love your panel. It's well worth its cost. You are a remarkable developer. You produce high quality software AND, just as importantly, you provide superb documentation and videos. Well done, really well done. Happy holidays Greg.

After exporting from LR one or more pictures via WSP, the process stops at ACR: I click OK. Then I am asked if I want to delete the TIFF files. But after that I cannot find (and import in LR) the new JPEG files, even after synchronization of the folder. I have tried both save as "same folder as source" and "specific folder". Does anybody have similar trouble? Shall I expect that the process is run automatically? Watching at the video, I understand that the files are automatically created and saved in the designed folder. Thank you!

When using the LR integration, the output is always put into the same file as the source if you export through WSP without using ACR. However, the ACR output is independent and simply goes wherever you set it to in ACR. You can set it to use the same folder as the source image. That's the setting you should use for what you're trying to do, it must be set to some other specific folder.

@@gregbenzphotography thank you. It seems weird to me that I cannot export WITHOUT passing through ACR even if the file is a .jpg. When I export always ACR pop up.
@gregbenzphotography Жыл бұрын
@@faustoIt That's just a setting in WSP, you've requested the ACR interface and should change to JPG. Note that JPG gain maps (for HDR images) are only possible through the ACR interface at this time.

@@gregbenzphotography thanks a lot. Now it's clear. Very helpful.
