The coolest thing about your videos is actually seeing you grow and get better as a fisherman. Your spending time on the water has paid off in a big way. Congratulations. You've worked hard to become as good an angler as you are. You've really earned it. It's inspiring to see your hard work pay off. It's cool to see you get excited about your catches. It's refreshing to see the unbridled joy you show when you catch a good one. Keep up the great work, Greg. It's fun watching you continue to get better and better. We should all aspire to be as committed to the sport as you are.

Excellent excellent excellent video Greg!!!! It encapsulates so many aspects of fishing!!!! You pulled success out of the jaws of defeat. You adapted on the fly; one of the things that differentiates a truly excellent fisherman from a good one. Plan A didn’t work, you improvised successfully. And what can be said about that run of big tankers!!!!!!! Wow man. Shocked the poop pit of me!!!! At any rate, congratulations. Reminds me of moments both my brother and I have had on the water. It’s moments like these that keeps us coming back for more. I particularly like the John Buchanan quote on fishing, “ The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is illusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.” Your video has this in spades. Thanks for sharing bud. Made the week start off on a bright and uplifting note!! Be well.

And that is why we fish tournaments! The stress, the feeling of weight off our shoulders when landing a huge fish in a tournament and still trying to get limit before a set time! Then finding you got the W even though u didnt catch all monsters. All the above based on your own strategy n plan makes it all worth while. This is the true essence of tournament fishing and why its so rewarding atleast to me. Congrats on the W!

Congrats Greg!! This summer I'll enter my 1st 3 tournamants. I kayaked and fished all summer, but alot more boating, because I put my new motor on. My lake is 900 acres of water. So the new 2.5 Suzuki is awsome, my kayak is also 10ft, that is the size I wanted. But working on her all winter. I've learned many thing's from you. Especially to pre-fish. But just to slowly get better and better, is the best part. And fishing out on the water, is true therapy. Great job bro, you always fish hard. All of us rookie anglers appreciate the things you share. God bless..

Greg -Left Guntersville- Riddle what I don’t get is how this tournament works there’s no live well and no official weigh stations and that fish he caught after the 8lber he didn’t even weigh how do you win? Do the judges just take your word and trust your not lying?
@greg-leftguntersville-ridd97485 жыл бұрын
Johnredcorn 1 In general, kayak tournaments are based fish length and not weight. Fish are measured and photographed on an approved measuring device with a unique identifier. The identifier is released the morning of the tournament so people can’t photograph fish before hand. Also, the photos are time stamped with gps to verify that he fish was photographed on eligible waters. Some saltwater tournaments bring fish back to weigh them. I hope that helps. If not, many people have put vids up explaining the process.
@captainggttv32435 жыл бұрын
Greg -Left Guntersville- Riddle that explains it that’s weird I never seen a tournament judge by total length that’s pretty cool he would of crushed the tournament either way if it was weight or length he would have taken the win crazy how he won by a 1/4 inch the guy in second was probably so bummed out
