Thank you soooo much for your thoughts! I haven't taken any photos other than on my phone in 3 years now. Can't believe it myself. So many things happened. I went on a trip to Hill Country and Big Bend. Later went to Mexico for 3 months again. Returned. Computer died. Started new business. So I find myself 3 years and no time for photos. I've just recently been getting re-interested in learning more - more Spanish - more about photography. There's never enough time, lol. I appreciate you guys.

Been in Mexico 25 years, but keeping a roof over our heads and food on the table -- my chaparrita is very strict about that -- got in the way of really visiting all the neat places in Mexico we'd like to see. But, like a good grandpa, I get to live through the kids. So young ones, show me my Mexico that I still haven't seen.

Yes! Valle de Bravo is a weekend destination. It’s very common to rent cabins in Valle or the town next to it, Avandaro. Lots of fancy hotels too. You can find fancy restaurants but a lot of affordable places too. Thanks for sharing! 😄👍🏼

I love Valle de Bravo, lots of my family members have houses there because my grandfather invested in the land in the 60's (before the tourist development of the town), and we go there often because it's so close to the city, one of my political aunts loved so much that she build a house and moved from Montana now she only goes back to the States to visit family. I'm really glad that you liked it!

Hey Greg, I noticed that you are doing your homework and reading about Mexico. You mentioned the three most important and famous coffee growing regions in Mexico. It shows your interest to know more about our country. My favorite coffee is the one from Veracruz. I really like its mild flavor. Chiapas and Oaxacas coffees are too acid. This is my opinion, I don't know what you guys and rest of subscribers think. Great video guys.

Saludos desde Justin, Texas. I love Mexico City and El Estado de México . I was there last summer in July and I went to Iztapan de La Sal. My wife and daughter loved it. I have been going there ever since I was a little kid. I don't spend money on hotels there because I have family there which helps me out a lot. I like to know someone else's point of view about Mexico. I am glad to know that you guys like Mexico and hang out with the locals.

You are very close to one of the most beautiful cities in the Americas: Morelia. If you want to know how Mexican cities used to look like before 'modernity' destroyed them, check this stunning Mexican City in the State of Michoacan. You won't regret it. Hopefully, you'll have a chance there to enjoy some real Mexican Food, and not just street snacks (delicious though, but Mexican food is a lot more than the snacks you've been enjoying on the streets)..... But, if you feel like having a full adventure, take a sightseeing trip (all around Morelia) to the gorgeous little towns of Patzcuaro (with it's enchanting island in the middle of the beautiful lake, Janitzio), Uruapan (and its beautiful Eco-Park in the middle of the city, Santa Clara del Cobre (and it's hundreds of local Copper Stores, workshops, and Galleries), Paracho (and it's ancient handcrafted guitar workshops), and many more wonderful picturesque villages untouched by 'civilization'. In this part of Mexico (Michoacan State) each village has its own particular trade, their own type of handicrafts. The town's dwellers have been crafting them for around five centuries, and in some cases for millenniums. Something really worth seeing. Happy traveling guys (makes me want to go back to Mexico). Cheers

The body of water that ya all went on the boat tour is Lake Avándaro? Avándaro,....that's where the Mexican version of Woodstock was held sometime back in the 60s! The first Rock groups of Mexico gathered here to perform, groups like the DugDugs, Three souls in my mind, now just El Tri de Alex Lora, Javier Batiz and many more that I'm not familiar with. LOL...Mole with french fries, well that's being innovative! ;)

Los DugDugs, interesting so they're natives of Durango State? lol....a coupla years ago in the late 80s they played my city, Querétaro, and from what I remember they were blonde, white bandmembers, I thought they were probably from Spain or Argentina, I was wrong, thanks for sharing this interesting bit of info' Bob! Bob Robertson, Robertson, happen by chance to be of the same family as the late Alonso Robertson? LDS and native to Utah, he spent his last years in se Utah(Moab), married twice, with each wife he had 1 daughter, quite the respectable townsmen, had a cabin up in the LaSal's(mtns.)as well as property down in the Moab Valley.

My wife is from Durango, Dgo., and she would never let me forget it! :-) No, I am not related to Alonso Robertson. My father was from near Chicago and made his first visits to Mexico before the Second World War. He was in love with the country! Later I spent some time as a baby, living in Cuernavaca. I later attended school in Cuernavaca and Puebla and met and married my wife in Cuernavaca. I have not lived in Mexico since then, but my wife's family are there. :-)

Come on guys !!!!. You lived in Vallarta !!!. Anywere you go in Mexico, are choices for different budgets. Valle, of course, it is not a beach destination, but being near CDMX makes it an option for people "De alto pedorraje". All properties you see are nothing but hard working Mexicanos enjoying home, just as in the US. Here in Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, La Cruz (and any other place all over Mexico) , most of all big huge luxury yatchs you see, are owned by Mexicanos. They are not narcos, but whealty people. Saludos. Good to see Valle wasn't cold at that time because when is cold in Valle , it is really cold and windy.

Guera, coffee is too hot for that climate. I guess a cold latte works. Try some of the local Mexican sodas, like Penafiel and aqua mineral, or paletas de aqua. Mmmmm!!

Hola Amigos! Love your channel. I am coming to Mexico on the 13th for 2 weeks and I can't wait! I will be visiting my friend who lives in Guadalajara, then her and I will be traveling to Sayulita for a few days. We plan to visit Puerto Vallarta as well while we are staying in Sayulita. I am so excited to see the Mexican culture and most of all the foooooddd! Keep up the videos gringos! Maybe I will get lucky and see you guys out and about in PV 😃 We'll be there sometime between the 20th and 23rd.

I am sooooo excited. Tzitzi and I spent some time together in Orlando and Miami in October and in Boston over New Years, so I got to share my country with her and now she can share her country with me. I definitely look forward to the beaches, I think we are going to take surfing lessons in Punta Mita as I read about some water issues in Sayulita. Either way should be an amazing experience. Yes it's too bad you are in Mexico City now, I would have offered to take you guys on a double date with Tzitzi and myself haha.
