​@@pauldavies9360 God gave them life. I'm agnostic but I've understood "God" as a way of referring to the "first source, the beginning, the shaper of the world, what makes everything move, etc". You could call it Nature, Universe, YWHH, Father, Order, Brahman, Allah, Tao, or simply don't give it a name at all. When you thank God you're appreciating everything. The fact that the musicians are alive, that I am alive, that I have the capacity to listen... and so on.

Music with meaning! God is good. It was an honor to have our sanctuary at St. Matthew's & St. Joseph's Episcopal Church (Detroit) featured in the video. This first African American Anglican/Episcopalian church in Michigan is an integral part of motor city history.

LOVE this man's music! On the first Saturday in January he performed live at my church for our monthly Jazz Vespers. The place was more packed than on a Sunday! My husband said it was the first time he ever saw me starstruck...and I took a photo with him! WHY isn't incredible music like this on radio instead of the crap that's played. Rhetorical question.
