Is there any worry about bowing out the rim board over time? Is it worth cutting the nails (and a thin kerf) at one end of the joist e.g. with a sawzall to provide about 1/16" of relief and then renailing once the joist is straightened?

Thats what im planning on mine. Its 50 years old, and they didnt use blocking. Im going to add blocking and cut it to match the warp.
