In the video, 16-year-old Thunberg talks about what she thought of president Trump's tweet about her, and she also comments on the stare that went viral.

When I was 18 in 1971, it was the beginning of my goal to save environment. In the USA there was already a movement, it was then called Ecology. I taught my own seminar, as a sophomore in college, separate from the schools curriculum. It was a non-credit seminar, I held it to find like minded students who wanted to begin finding solutions for recycling. Recycling in the USA, was in its infancy, it was barely known about, or a concern of anyone, except for a few students. It wasn't my job, or something I was learning about in college. I went to college to become a Fine Artist. But this was a personal hobby of mine. I continued to add to that narrative my whole life, and now at age 65,.....I am seeing the world worse off than it has ever been. I, we, made some strides. Recycling has been embraced in most American cities. I helped locally, ( in my adopted home town) with this effort.

It is only now that I got the chance to really watch Greta and this is what i observed: Greta is a very sensitive human and her face is very expressive, and people most of the time mistaken her facial expressions to something else or something negative. She admitted to having Autism and we have to understand that she's probably trying her best to figure out every sentence and every reaction of the person she's talking to that is why she looks at them intently. She also gets impatient easily due to her Autism but it seems she mean everything that she says and she is very careful with her words and she doesn't want everybody to read her thoughts. And then go on, and read more about economic theories, do your research upon what’s going on with the world economy and dig deeper into the history of economics (how certain theories came about and how we solved our problems in the past and learn how we got to where we are today). Jaime Morgan That is untrue and shows that you are unaware of the fertilization process. The egg is fertilized while it is in the Fallopian tubes. The FERTILIZED egg then travels down to the uterus where it MAY implant and start to grow creating a pregnancy. However this process takes approximately 5 - 10 days to occur. Very often, (roughly estimated at fro 60 to 80% of the time) the woman begins her cycle before implantation has occurred and the FERTILIZED egg is flushed. Maybe before you get on your high horse and impose your opinion on a woman’s rights to her own body, you should actually understand the process. Often a woman releases more than one egg and more than one is fertilized. Your religious indoctrination is making you bend the facts or else you are unaware of them.

Greta says it so simply and innocently but economically and impactfully. Greta is effective because she is pointing out in a concise way, a very serious issue. And who can expect a young girl to carry this issue alone? She is successful in at least creating a compelling, thought provoking, atmosphere, to open up a dialogue that has created a space for the first step.. a conversation. She said it in this interview; she doesn't need gifts, she needs action from those in power. I don't think anyone could have done it better. Thank you, Greta!

@@QuantumChanti Date is not important, as is hysterical attempt to scare people. Yes, there is a change in climate, it started 10,000 + years ago and human kind has adapted to survive. Not by trying to change the climate and scaring people, but by adapting new technology. Surely there might be some areas that will no longer support crop like rice, but there are vast ares in north hemisphere that are warming up, supporting agriculture as never before. By your reasoning climate change is still happening. But if governments dont actually add this factor into their budgets and predictions (like all insurance companies are) they will not be able to assist in all the ramifications to the economy, geopolitics and food supply that will ensue. It's all happening right now and change in policy is not happe soon enough. And America, one of the biggest polluters even before co2, is not coming to the table. Individual choices and national choices affect us all. But if you're fine with not doing your bit then, hey....... At least it seems you can afford to move. Many in the world cannot.

@@QuantumChanti Climate change will continue to occur, regardless what we or governments will do. CO2 emissions are not the cause, that is obvious from rock sediment records going back million years. Ice age and warming has happened before several times. People have survived, Viking have survived, so did Mammoth hunters in Siberia. Do not ask Government to do something, its the people that get things done when needed.
