Dear Jo. 6am and still not sleeping. This is very hard, dear lady. I am afraid your voice does not send me to sleep (ho ho) but it is really difficult. Ate something yesterday and less suicidal at the moment. It’s like a holiday. I don’t want sleeping tablets. Too dangerous. I am wide awake. Dreadful. Edward.

I am having a hard time sleeping. I miss my sister alot we talked alot. She had a brain tumor and stage 4 breast cancer what a lady with lots of courage and grace . We were two years apart. Her youngest sister. There were there of us now only me . Both sisters died of cancer I'm tired of people saying are you not over that yet .it's little over month now . 😎

You lost sisters. I am ticked off when someone asks - are you not over yet? Like Jesus Christ, those were our siblings. How in Gods name can they offer more support if you lose a partner or a parent, hell even grandparents, then for brothers and sisters? You are not allowed to be sad over your sibling. I lost my only brother to a stroke a year and six months ago and I can say - we will never be okay with their loss. I am so sorry you had to lose both of your sisters. The pain of loss is so consuming. Hang in there. Sending you as much hugs I can spare.

Thank you Jo - erratic sleep has been my year… waking in fear very early is what you capture. I am trying to remember this when I wake too early and am feeling afraid of my grief… the words I am safe are what help me. Safety is what I don’t feel very often in this pain so that is for me.. a safe sleep message

Julie… Not sleeping is a thief in the night. I hope this helps extend a sense of safety.

I shall be trying this ritual henceforth. Anything to break the awful cycle of waking in the early hours and not being able to get back to sleep. Thank you Jo. 🙏

Hi Jo, I have used this for 4 nights now. To be honest my sleep hasn’t really improved but my general feeling of being ‘unsafe’ has. It’s 6 weeks since I lost my husband and I have been feeling terribly unsafe, since doing this routine that feeling has lessened, so thank you

From my beautiful son Lee Simon ❤️ x transitioning a beautiful Artist and scientist who everyone who knows my son x say he made them better people ❤️. So from the 5th of march 2021 still can't say it in words how long it's been. I don't go up to bed till early hours in the morning around 2 or 3 o'clock get a few hours then wake up in a panic to my realty that this is real screaming for my son x I find the only comfort is counting how many calories i have had in the day and that each day i manage less that makes me feel at some peace. Don't want to sleep because i have to wake up to this night mare allover again. There's really nothing that can ease this cruciating pain or help with sleep after child loss Because it feels like one's soul has left the body and just waiting for the body to stop working to be out of this pain . To every mum wearing these shoes hope you find some peace 🕊️ x x

I had been struggling with insomnia for several weeks following double jaw surgery. I couldn't figure out what exactly was causing it, but the tips in this video helped better than melatonin! I finally slept through the night (more or less, waking up at 4 a.m. wide awake...). I am grateful to you and indeed, what can we call this? Perhaps acupressure for sleep?
