Like the cleaning the grates and grill aspect. I enjoy the time it takes to get em ready in my chimney. More drinking time too. About my most favorite time. Try to have the prep down before starting the chimney and just sit back and relax.

@@bobhealey1365 Oh don't misunderstand, I still like it and will buy when on the market. If just for the cleaning of grates and kettle. It is also really cool. Would be a lot of fun to break out at a party. I still like the time to relax while the chimney does it's thing. There are times when getting the coals going would be sweet. I like your product. I may not be your typical buyer as I like the cleaning and fun element more than the speed of lighting coals. I hope you make a ton of money on this venture and I will indeed buy it. Watching T-Roy torching those coals brought tears to my eyes. It was great.

Troy - Love your videos. Thanks for being real in your chats. I feel like we are just sitting around hanging out. I know this is off topic, but I have question about smoking a turkey. I have smoked a turkey breast several times and the meat has always been delicious. I have a WSM. I usually inject and then put a nice rub on the turkey. Then cook it around 200 until it is done. My question is, how do I keep from making the skin rubbery? I hope to hear from you! Cheers from Oklahoma!!!
@TROYCOOKS
@TROYCOOKS 5 жыл бұрын
Hey Daron, thanks for the kind words brother! You can scrape the fat layer off the inside of the skin or just finish cooking Turkey at 325-350 to crisp up the skin at the end of the cook. I usually smoke until the internal temp is about 135 and then crank up the heat to crisp the skin.

Ash come naturally as the burn, THe coals will be fully lit in under a minute, then as you watch them burn, they will ash over later as the charcoal is consumed.

Fun video Troy. That is a neat little unit for sure, and a hat tip for the guy trying to get this off the ground. Wish him all the success. With that said, let's be brutally honest, the price is way too high just to light a fire. Almost every one has propane tank and a regular weed burner is under $20.

Thanks for watching and please share it on social media. BTW I've been using a $20 weed torch for over a decade too, but last year I finally decided to design a real torch. Read about what makes the GrillGun so much better in the Technology section of the website GrillBlazer.com. You'll be surprised... promise. Troy isn't kidding when he says he wants one. It is that much better.
