@@fubarghost13akawoz44 you should definitely go, there’s nothing like it anywhere else. The elaborate beautiful costumes are something else, plus the events up at the abby, storytelling, plays, gothic funeral and battle reenactments etc. We used to go every year when I lived in UK, fingers crossed they cover it as it would be a massive bit of nostalgia for me.

Another terriffic and amazing video. I've always heard that Alton Towers was awesome during Halloween. Seeing Jessica hugging the character outside the manor was beautiful. I also enjoy the " Missing Reel " inserts Michael, it reminds me of old 80's drive-in's. It's amazing the sets and theming around the castle. So happy Michael got to fulfill a dream of riding Wicker Man. Nice on-ride photo too. Thank-you for taking us along as it was like I was there with tall. Happy Halloween 🎃

Gutted I missed you guys! I was working here, worked there for 7 years and left on Halloween 2023! I could give you guys lots of interesting information or heads towards the place if you came back. The towers alone are full of amazing history, in fact we've started doing heritage tours during the summer months of the towers and grounds as of 2024. Obviously they close to get ready for Scarefest by about late August to prepare the scare mazes. So nice to see a place that's so close to me personally done by one of my favourite KZbin channels. If you're interested in the towers themselves try to find a book called Alton Towers Past and Present by Michael Fisher, brilliant information. Hope to catch you guys here in the future

I live less than 30 minutes away from Alton Towers, and its my favourite place to visit. The theming is fantastic especially scare fest. Glad you enjoyed it

My wife and I go to Alton Towers 3 times a year and we always go for Scarefest, we love it. Usually you are allowed to walk around all of the Towers but unfortunately they haven't opened it up to the public this year, apart from the Attic maze. Alton Towers has such a great history. It's a shame you didn't get to experience the ride Hex, it tells a really spooky story about the chained oak tree. The Curse If Alton Manor is new for this year, before it was called Duel. It had laser guns and you had to shoot the monsters coming at you. I really love what they have done to this ride, the special effects and story are awesome. cool that you guys were here👻🎃

Alton towers is great, although Thorpe Park scare mazes are more intense. You are only a short drive from Screamfest which have fantastic mazes.. especially outdoors through the Maize Maze!

Thanks for that. I didn't think that we did Halloween on quite the same scale in the U.K as in the U.S. but that looked pretty impressive. The village of Avebury in Wiltshire is a recommendation as it has a natural magical quality about it, especially on a grey misty day. One of the largest stone circles in Europe and one of the oldest. Very unique experience.

Going there next week. A bit sad I missed you by only few weeks but your video has made me even more excited for my trip. The Alton Tower Dungeon is part of a group of Dungeons around the UK and Europe. There are 6 in the UK and two in Germany (Berlin and Hamburg) really recommend visiting them as they badically teach you about the darker side of local history.
