It really is incredibly hot for England as of late. I've been busy busy moving house all weekend, absolutely cooked. But the simpit is set up and I found time for an hour after Tea. I even managed to score 3 skyhawks over the Falklands in our less cool/more complex Harriers. Bit of GR to chill out to for bed time. Enjoy RIAT, to all the Beautiful Boys!

im just starting to play the game, bought the f16 on sale to start, im looking for a Hotas anyone know if the Logitech x56 is a good beginner one that will last awhile thinking about getting that one to start or maybe the x52 but that screen looks difficult to use , dont want to spend any more than the x56

If you want your equipment to last without malfunctions...get the VKB Gladiator NXT joystick. It's a massive leap in robust quality and precision over what Logitech and Thrustmaster sell at or below the price range. Since VKB doesn't have a combat throttle just yet, you can try to find an X56 throttle by itself. The throttles are good enough, although they do have their quirks. An alternative throttle is the Thrustmaster TWCS. They both need to be fiddled with a bit to get the best out of them, but one provides sheer durability (TWCS), while the other is no slouch, providing a bunch of extra controls (X56). If you can get your hands on a cheap X52 throttle, that might last you good while until you can save up for a higher quality one. I might have one in storage I can sell to you. The VKB stick though, you'll never be disappointed by.

The Parachute Regiment is made up of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd BN's, and the 4th BN TA. During WW2, the regiment was expanded to include the airborne divisions that took part in Normandy and at Arnhem. Post war to the present day, the regular 3 BN's have remained mostly in tact, while the TA companies have been reduced to the single one.

America has much more than a single Airborne division. In addition to the 82nd Airborne, we have the 173rd Airborne Brigade, the newly activated 11th Airborne Division, as well as the entirety of US Army Special Operations Command, which has the 75th Ranger Regiment, and 1st Special Forces Regiment, and all of the Civil Affairs and PysOps guys. We like jumping out of planes.

I have submitted a request for Eagle Dynamics to add a keystroke to remove that S hook that's dangling on the left side of the cockpit of the Apache. Drives my OCD nuts. And I would join your Patreon Cap just to help fund the cause. Even without joining all that other stuff. I would love to see and occasional picture-in-picture inset of you at your computer and gaming station. See your inputs in real life and compare to what's going on in-game. Just a 5 second window that pops up during exciting combat. Or, even better, have a version of the video that is for Patreons only that has the full time window showing you in real life the whole mission. It can be edited of course. So when I was sitting in a copter one time, and there were tracers all over the place, this older guy told me if I see a tracer but its not moving up, down or right left, then its heading right for my head. It makes sense and I watched each and every tracer from then on. That or I sat at the bottom of my slit trench where we slept at night. Great fireworks display tracers at night!
