@@grimreapers They did not that was not considered a " Carrier". I think Leonardo was saying a combined fleet not the pickets that were hit.

Several attacks were made, but the big what if? is the Carrier Battle that almost happened. The sinking of the General Belgrano cause the Argentinians to pull the navy back to port for the rest of the war, including it's carrier Veinticinco de Mayo, which did attempt to launch an airstrike on the RN Task Force, but there wasn't enough wind to launch the heavily loaded strike aircraft.

I was working security at Camp Virginia in Kuwait when this happened. I remember the Georgian troops that were part of the coalition in Iraq rotating through Camp Virginia on their way home to fight the Russians. They looked very pissed. I hope they all made it.

Great video as usual. I have a what if idea: During the Falklands conflict Argentina kept loads of their forces in reserve incase of attack by Chile. You could do a mission for what if Argentina sent their full force? Also an excuse for harriers which I always good

Operation Immediate Response commenced at approximately 17:35 local time when the Ticonderoga-class cruiser USS Chosin (CG-65) and an unknown Oliver Hazard Perry-class FFG launched a Harpoon strike at the blockading Russian naval force off the coast of Poti. While mutual fire was exchanged, no ASMs reached the NATO fleet, and two Grisha-class corvettes and the Nanucha-class corvette Mirazh were observed to be hit and on fire, eventually sinking. The aerial campaign was largely one-sided, with minimum air opposition encountered. A flight of two Polish F-16s encountered a two-ship formation of Abkhazian Mil Mi-8s, which were summarily shot down. One of the Polish F-16s then encountered a Russian Su-27 entering the no-fly zone; both airplanes were destroyed in the dogfight, with both pilots killed. While heavy damage was inflicted on ground equipment, NATO forces had a relatively high loss rate in return, losing a USMC AV-8B Harrier II, a USMC F/A-18 Hornet, a USAF A-10C Lighting II, a Swedish Air Force Saab 37 Viggen and a friendly Mil Mi-8 to ground fire. Also lost was a USN F-14B Tomcat, and another Viggen which crashed after attempting to land on the USS Theodore Roosevelt. (This was pieced together from the mission video and the debrief. Several losses were not shown on screen).

What if… @2017/2018, US has posted SM2ER Aegis cruiser in the Sea of Japan as North Korea threatens ballistic missile tests. A launch occurs, missile is partially intercepted but falls on Japan, killing several. POTUS orders punitive strike on the launch site in NK. I downloaded the DCS program, via 'Steam.' But I couldn't get it to do ANYTHING! Not even the tutorials in the P-51, would do anything but freeze up in the first seconds of the program. Don't know what I was doing wrong, if anything. In addition, I was under the impression that there were tanks in DCS... Tanks that you could operate, 'control,' just like the aircraft. But I never once saw that.

If Ukraine joined NATO, that would mean under article 5 that NATO would be obligated to defende the territorial integrity of Ukraine with its full military might. It would mean all out war with Russia, and a very likely immediate russian nuclear response. SO NATO doesnt allow Ukraine to join until russia backs off, because they dont want to end the world.
