They actually kinda do, whole reason Russia didn't support America,Britain or China in the war against Japan until August 1945 was cause the two had a non aggression pact. They even refused to go to several diplomatic meetings over concern that it would be seen as a violation of the non aggression pact.

@@warhawk9566 Well that and because Russia wanted to concentrate on only fighting on one front and the Japanese had been beaten by the Russians in the 30s (hence why they went south in the 1940s) once germany was finished... Interestingly lend lease ships from the US to Russia as well as going through the arctic also went across the pacific on Russian ships sailling straight through japanese waters :-)! Japan also definitely didn't want to be fighting on two fronts (infact one theory is that it was the Russian attack rather than the Nuclear bombs that convinced them their position was untenable). It's interesting to think that if the timelines had lined up slightly differently and Japan and Germany had attacked Russia at the same time whether it would have made any difference who knows.

It's going to end eventually but when it does it's hopefully bought you the time to prepare or avoid conflict altogether

Yeah! I would love to see that. The mission does sound like it would end quickly though because in DCS the missiles are really well modeled and any aircraft could shoot down any plane from over 20km away. You can guess how every mission would begin. Unless they started from airfields and carriers
