This is so sad, I grew up there and it is now such a different place. I remember a few scams my parents fell for with a handyman and a company who removed all their soffitt by “mistake”…they then wanted to charge them to reinstall it. But luckily they were never physically hurt by anyone. Everyone please check on our older neighbors and help out, it could be your parents one day.

I’m going to assume she was a kind and easily manipulated older woman… especially because she agreed on paying $100.00 to someone for grabbing mail. She felt trapped and alone, and that’s really sad. She did not deserve a year end bonus… obviously. But a lot of people do. It’s a corporation thing. If you’ve worked in one (usually professionals like writers, ad agencies, tech companies) they receive these types of bonuses

Another thing is, in Canada and I realize my dollar is different, but in Canada I don't receive Christmas bonuses this large. I may have gotten one where is 500 Canadian dollars like many many years of cleaning and I thought that that was a little excessive and a lot. I tried to actually make her keep it but she insited and i did take it. I gave her a free clean after that. This is really brutal I'm really hoping that this woman is able to get another cleaner that can make her feel safe again and the one that she can trust. It's a really big responsibility when you're taking care of somebody's house, because it's not just cleaning you're making sure that it's secure when you leave, you're making sure that the house doesn't burn down while you're there or after. This is sick!!!

Christmas 2023, I was robbed by my hired maid. She was charged and goes to court in March. They had her in court once but she made a plea deal with the D.A. ro drop all charges for $40. Who goes to court for loss of $40?😢 I was out $$$. So I appealed and they gave her a new trial starting in March, '25. Nobody but nobody cares that I got robbed from a maid I hired from Craigslist. EVERYONE rolls their eyes at me. I knew better. But I had a sudden heart attack and had to rush to hospital. That's when she robbed me. 😢😢😢 This seems to be a trend.

Sometimes old people attack it is weak attack but never grab them their skin peels off like paper and bones break so trust me if your ever under assault by a old person run away simply grabbing their hands to stop them assaulting you well leave bruising and once a jury looks at that your toast regardless of the truth !
