Guys. I want you to think about something. As a welder of 30+ yrs I keep seeing all you youtuber influencers doing the same thing. So whats the process of plasma cutting? Basically a superheated stream of air that is atomizing the media you are cutting and spraying it away from your kerf, thus seperating the pieces. Correct in laymans terms, if i had to explain it to a newbie? So have you looked under your table below the slag path? There is an electronic machine thats got a fan cooling it sucking in all that atomized iron and other ferrous materials directly into the case. Maybe its just me, but i have always kept my machines above my cutting/welding tables so I'm not blasting shavings or slag into them. They don't tend to work well when they short out.

Not likely they will see this comment, but you are 100% correct. This happened to my plasma like 15 years ago, got too much metal dust up in it and shorted the circuit board. Expensive lesson.

You should look for at least 7°angle for a U-joint, with both ends at the same angle and phase/yoke alignment. If they run straight, the needle bearings gets busted and if the angles or alignment is not correct, the rotational speed will change 4-8 times/revolution. Both ways it makes things vibrate.

Needles do not roll enough and with time they dig in which makes the joint sticky.

It’s so cool to see how much you have all progressed over the years too, and I wonder what will be accomplished in the next 10 years. I have to say though, you owe your loyal subscribers a lot for the continued support and it’d be nice to see you give back in some way, like free to enter giveaways or something. Even just little things like parts, machinery, tools or vouchers it doesn’t have to be thousands worth. You could also build an email list this way too, which you can promote through so in a way you won’t lose out. I think it’s something that’s often overlooked which is understandable especially with how hard you all work but it’s, in my opinion, a necessity at the level you guys are at. Love the video, love the content: Will's growth as a fabricator has been amazing to witness. I will add that maybe he should do some research on how u-joints work, by making the front half of that shaft nearly straight, and the rear at an angle, it's causing inconsistent speeds as suspensions flex. U joints actually need matching angles front and rear to function properly.
