They tried to ride with two people in this micro jet boat. 😆 With one person it's going to be awesome if that motor has the power. link to video guys. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6mplISvgM99Y5Y

You should really have a little air bag under your seat.. Because these things will beat your spin up. I guess you can at least throw a simple doughnut in your seat. On a jet ski, your legs act as the shock absorbers. In these boats, it's a very painful ride on rough waters.
@shaynegadsden2 жыл бұрын
I get sponsorship and love the work you do on these projects but don't BS people about the product, without knowing the exact make and model of the bikes even the cheapest bike at the size of the two larger ones have batteries at least double that of the Jackery 1500 and a quality units about 4x the size mean a full charge might give you 30 minutes ride time per 5 hours at best charge time on the Jackery
@calholli2 жыл бұрын
@@shaynegadsden What's your point? He never said that the pack fully charges bikes-- He said "I charged my bike on the way here" -- meaning that it was charging during the short trip over/ also demonstrating that it's portable and has some utility, even without the panels. I don't think he said anything misleading--- he obviously hooked it all up to the panels directly after, showing that it still needed to finish charging; again, which makes it obvious that the pack didn't fully charge the bike during the ride over... Besides, people know how to read the numbers-- they know how big their batteries are, and they will be looking at the size of the pack when they buy it.
@shaynegadsden2 жыл бұрын
@@calholli I think you would be surprised many people will just something on the fact they seen it done not actually understand how it works and the panels were on the tiny green bike the new one they pointed could pull over 1kw so the panels might extend the charging 10 minutes before running into issues also he didn't say "I charged my bike on the way here" he said "bikes" while gesturing to all of them again some it couldn't do

It is to small to have the buoyancy for an adult captain and that engine in it etc, IMHO, add a remote control system to it and make the worlds fasted RC jet boat. I've seen a similar build on another channel and it barely stayed a float with an engine half the size with a full sized adult piloting it. I may be wrong it may float just fine with you in it but add remote controls to it anyway, go with a servo steering system and servo throttle and controls so you don't have to add steering or throttle control weight, not to mention the ability to sit back in it and steer it from a more comfortable position, unload it remotely and bring it to the docks remotely.

@scooz142 жыл бұрын
You're making a lot more work for yourself by making the pump shoe. Look into a tiger shark daytona pump as it will bolt into the hull and be ready to go, and water tight. The design if the shoe has to be correct or it wont be able to pull enough water through and the impeller will cavitate
@TrevorDennis1002 жыл бұрын
That sounds like good advice. We know how critical this stuff is from some Finnigan's videos where tiny adjustments made significant changes to his scary as heck Game Over jet boat. He had that up to 130mph after the fine tuning. Making what looked like small changes to the flow of the intake not only made it go faster, but also improved the boat's handling and cured the scary hopping it had been doing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/m53ViXaBi5iIb7M

For the BMW, you could add a few rear facing cameras. My dad has neck problems and can't look over his shoulders. He added a rear view camera near the license plate, and a camera on both side mirrors and set them to monitor his blind spots. He can use the side view mirrors in conjunction with the three small screens in a custom enclosure on the dash right over the instrument cluster to help him see behind him.

Idaho world. springtime for GHPC has arrived.

A solution to the engine space issue might be to flip the engine 180* and use a V drive transmission with an overdrive ratio. Another option is make a custom surface drive or out drive. Surface drive would mount further back on the transom. An outdrive would also mount to the transom and eliminates the need for a gear box. Or see what one of these jet stream boats will do with a reenforced transom and/or a miniature Armstrong bracket and a couple of small 2 stroke outboards.

V-drive. You can then flip the engine backwards on top of the impellor casing. This should help push the inlet down in the water without being too top heavy. With that, space the whole attachment surface down 1/8" from the front of the inlet, and 1/2 to 5/8 @ the transom. It should have a slight downward angle to keep the nose down. To get a balanced, roomy two-seater out of that hull, hook a variator in that engine, drive the V-drive from that, and V-drive the impellor. The engine can then be balanced for one side seat for straight solo ride.

bit of a tip when working under a vehicle outside, get a big cardboard box (like from a fridge, etc) and put it on the ground (like flattened), it will be easy to slide around on and it's clean and dry and warm (er than the ground) and it will soak up spillages and can be reused and disposed of easy (burnt maybe)
