Miriam In China I love watching your channel to unwind. You give the impression of a very calm and peaceful life although I know it cannot truly be like that without modern conveniences; I especially thought so after watching you make pizza, when us in the west eat it as a ‘fast food’ yet yours appeared to take hours to make. Did your family enjoy it? Especially with the new flavour of cheese. Your mother in law has a lovely friendly face, it’s nice to see you have been accepted by them, and your husband is so handsome! I know you don’t reply very often but I think your family are super. I’d love to know if you see your forever home in China?
What !!!!!????? No lovely adorable best Mother In Law !!!!?? She's an Angel.

She is really good at folding the dumpling. I am impressed and jealous! I tried so many times with no success. I remember my Mother and Grandmother, when I was a kid in China, making dumplings and dongs (rice with fillings wrapped in bamboo leaves) for festive occasions. I feel proud that Miriam, who did not grow up in this culture took it so seriously and become good at it.

We are a country that is a mixture of different ethnicities but Chinese food here is pretty popular. Most of the Chinese influence here comes from southern China, notably Xiamen (formerly Amoy). So I guess the Chinese cuisine here may be more Cantonese than other parts of China. Love your channel!
