I consider myself a masculine guy and I’m attracted to masculinity. I also am attracted to transmen cause like I said, I’m attracted to masculinity. I don’t see a problem with being attracted to whatever turns you on. The problem comes in when you start disrespecting and putting down anyone who doesn’t fit what you’re into. I’m respectful of everyone, but if I’m not into, I’m just not into you. It’s as simple as that.

I'm a member of the BDSM and Kink Lifestyle Community, I see masculine females who are subs and feminine males who are Dom's. Gender expression and sexual expression aren't always mutual. The idea that feminine vs masculine automatically means bottom/top or passive/aggressive is also a "box" that people tend to put others in.

Something that has always bothered me with these masc for masc guys (not that there is anything wrong with that, you like what you like and no one can be everyone's cup of tea) is where do they draw the line of masculine and feminine for them to deem someone attractive and unattractive? I dont find my personality or body language to be very feminine but my style is pretty androgynous. And even when i wear very masculine clothing i still get mistaken for a girl or transman. So when i get masc for masc bros hitting me up, i be confused cause i dont even know if im their type lol p.s. something that bothered me in the video is they never brought up fem men who are only seeking masc men... 👀
@kittenbraden98005 жыл бұрын
At the end of the day, it's so subjective and inter-personal that you just can't tell until you've met/seen/interacted with a person. The bottom line (ha) could be: boxes can be kinda sorta helpful but are ultimately unsuitable in determining who you're gonna vibe with
@tonguepop94535 жыл бұрын
@@kittenbraden9800 personally speaking i dont like boxes and get extremely annyoned when ever people try to label me as something (usually a fem i swear you put on alittle black eyeliner and a crop top and all of a sudden everyone thinks you want to be a woman) no one is all masculine or all femmine we all hold traits of both and express them in different ways. I think judt what gets me with these apps, which i often use because its hard to find other queer men from in person interactions, is that the dudes up there dont even look at the profile they just decide to talk to ypu base off your pic which i cant put all sides of me in one pic. So when i get these masc for masc guys hitting me up i wonder if i am masculine enough that they will like me or if they will see me in a maxi skirt one day and go fuck that or if it while go south and expect me to be their bottom bitch cause im a bit more girly lol but anyways i never get too worried all people want nowadays is sex. I miss the older days when people actually took people out on dates then if the date went well took em home. Nowadays all we get is dick pics and addresses. It baffles me how many men will send a picture of their asshole or erect dick before a picture of their face.
@KaiDecadence5 жыл бұрын
Please don't. Look, you know when a guy is masculine and when a guy is feminine, let's not pretend like we don't know. You pretty much answered your own question. You happen to have a masculine style but have a feminine-leaning personality. I say "leaning" because feminine personalities can come in mainly three different ways. Soft, Bubbly, and Flamboyant. I guess you can just boil it down to this. If it's easy to tell that you read as gay (even if you aren't gay), you aren't masculine. And for what you said towards the end, they already have a fem guy who's only seeking masc men. That guy in the video, you know for a fact he only really goes after masculine guys (but gets turned down a good lot). Because here's the honest truth about feminine guys, we aren't attracted to other feminine guys. I mean let's be real here. If masculine guys rejecting us by the hundreds was that big an issue, we'd just easily just say "Fuck it" and go for other feminine guys. But yet we don't. And why? Because we don't find it romantically attractive in other guys and we prefer masculine guys for whatever reason (opposites attract is a popular one). I agree that they should talk about this but they never will lol.

In the case of fem guys, I just find it funny that in these videos, they either never ask them what kind of guys THEY are looking for (and I mean specifics) or if they do, they're vague about it but I can see right through it. Not much critical thought? Oh honey I've thought about certain controversial topics for years so don't come at me with that. I'm just realistic when it comes to certain harsh realities.

I just feel like as a gay black guy who commects with more ‘masculine’ images, the gay community hasn’t ever giving me something to resonate with. I’ve legitimately in the last few years seen more people telling my story In the hip hop community than I ever have in the gay community. That lack of representation coupled with the racism I’ve faced from more ‘feminine’ gays and the shaming of “masc4masc” guys by gay and trans ppl just pushes me further into that category. I don’t hate feminine guys nor do I totally rule them out but I am more attracted to guys who share my ‘masculine’ interests and who I’d be able to talk to like a straight friend.
